My Grande Premio de Argentina 1973 filmed on the track and into the pits . Drivers, cars, mechanics . No sound, light music, . 70's atmosphère guaranteed ........... -
Historic!!! Classic F1, Classic Drivers and cars!
Thank you for sharing!
Haha ! My company « Arnold furniture » was Jarier’s sponsor in 1973 . In the car you can also see Mike Beutler . And Jacky is a friend of mine . He gave me a ride from hotel to the track . Have a nice day . Jean-Claude
Man look how close you could get on these back sections of track back in the day
Right ... I remember that Beltoise spun just in front of me (2 meters) . Fortunately it was a slow hairpin corner ...
Great slice of home movie F1 nostalgia. Would've loved to be around in those days - the best era of F1. Thanx for sharing.
RIP
This is fantastic!
how on earth did you score a ride around town with both Jacky and Jarier???????
"photos"... "albums" ... "Arnold team" ou "JP Jarier" , ou "1967-1980 photos perso" , etc ... Merci encore . JCA
Thank you is a treasaure
merveilleux!
TOP !
Very elegant , classy and great footage...angles, coverage, atonishment terrific details....possibly one of the best - if not the best - F1 documents on YT...and being done alone, by yourself....what a talent ! Congratulations
Thanks a lot Nikola . How old are you ? 1973 is an old story and even my sons say it's too "vintage" for them !!!
@@jeanclaudearnold184 Im 57, I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil...it s impressive your work with a S8 camera ...from the very begining with drivers arriving - and I must say being shot Beltoise at first, recalling Buenos Aires, after 1971 Giunti's death and crash, its s syntomatich (how bad memories he should have brought on that landing...). I ve put your film as masterpiece as helicopter camera (and live TV coverage) of Monaco 1963 here on YT - ahead of its time . Jean Claude
@@nikolatesla7983 . Hi Nikola . Thank you for your nice comments . I remember that JP Beltoise was very anxious coming back to B.A. . We were in the same flight from Paris and in the same seat row . As well as the 2 finnish Marlboro hostesses . But when we came to the hotel, there were some kidnapping threats against him and he was under police protection during the full weekend . After Argentina we went to Sao Paulo and i also filmed the Brasilian GP . But unfortunately i went out of film reels so i do have only few minutes of that event . Give me your email so i can send it to you . You can also find me on Facebook "Jean Claude Arnold Strasbourg" . I posted several albums with hundreds of pictures of our F1 (as March partner), F2, F3 team . Hope to chat with you soon on FB or Messenger . My email : jcarnold67@gmail.com . JC
@@jeanclaudearnold184 What nice memories...the March team was an incredible adventure from the very begining in 1970..great team...I will look for your pictures for sure....I appreciate your offer but do not worry send me the film...when you upload , let me know...it s great for sure....I attended the Brazilian GPs most from 77 to 92 in São Paulo and Rio. ..great cars and good races and atmosphere...I always like to see old footage but rarely ever seen private stuff like yours...if I can help for anything related you need from Brazil, just send a message to lenda63@yahoo.com... Just as info, at Google Books you can find 30 years of a football and F1 magazine coverage - look for "Placar Magazine" , started in 1970 and click on the editions....not completa but almost all memory of brazilian gold era of football and Fittipaldi, Piquet and some Senna , all there to be appreciated - in portuguese - but some great pics and stuff.
All the best
treasure
Thank you Danny !
