  • The Klein Tools 56403 LED Light is an excellent rechargeable work light that also gives one USB out port. It has a rotating base with carabiner clip, strong magnets, three nail notches, a glow-in-the-dark bezel, two light settings, and a battery level indicator. The only thing it doesn't do is charge itself. I know, I tried.

I don’t comment often but this was the most extensive/detailed review on any product I’ve ever seen. Literally covered every aspect of this light. Truly unbelievable and OCD people like myself are thankful. Thank You!

Great review...Seems like a lot of reviews don't cover much of what people are reviewing. You covered a good range of the product.

I like rechargeable light products from Klein Tools because it has rechargeable batteries and battery gauge built in.

Great little light but I agree, not including a tripod mount is a mistake.

I’d like to see some unilite products on the channel. Haven’t got one myself but they look good from the 1 or 2 videos I’ve found.

Interesting. I've never heard of them. They sure don't give them away. Must be good stuff.

Hey Doc, I think if you long press while in high mode, it should turn off? In order to bypass low mode.

Looks like if you don’t have anywhere to hang that light you could probably just hook it on your belt or shirt buttons or something.

power level = speed I have to remember that..
Milwaukee plastic housing is cheap and anything that has a belt clip or a pocket clip will break almost immediately after you start using them.. and the magnets too if when housed in plastic will crack and come off.. frustrating .. got them repaired and a few weeks later with minimal use ,,,,break again..

Make it charge itself? Lmao. Are you asking Keli. To invent a perpetual energy light 🤣 never gonna happen. Ever. Impossible.

Can you replace the battery in the Klein ?

I haven't pulled it apart. The back is secured with four torx screws. Not sure I want to break the seal on it just yet. But many batteries are available so possibly. However, I doubt that the battery will give any trouble for many years. I've had rechargeable stuff more than a decade old that still works fine.

it uses 18650 batteries, these are standard. While it may be non user replaceable, I'm sure they can be replaced by a tech (or by yourself assuming you have decent fire insurance)..
