I fish a few weeks out of the year out of Hatteras. Great fishery but super, super sharky (as is most of the East Coast). Quite a run to the Gulf Stream but worth it. Fact you go from Marlin fishing to Tuna fishing to deep dropping or bottom fishing in the same day is great. Also enjoy the Cobia fishing in late summer.
We are lucky to not encounter them off NC, I have heard stories from boats longlining next to foreign vessels in international waters off Florida though. Wire leaders and j-hooks! No good!
@@HarborHouseSeafood last time we fished out there, we were surrounded by 6-7 Taiwanese boats setting right on top of us, unbelievable how unfriendly and invasive these fisherman are.
Like these long lines dont get broke, cut, hit by boats. leading to miles of line and hooks ending up on beaches with turtles, birds, dolphins and whales rapped up in it.
@@HarborHouseSeafood I liked the video thanks for sharing. Sure are some negative folks out there. That's what happens when they live in them big cities I guess. Too much pollution and no more fresh air maybe.
You can check out our sword fishing video with no narration, ua-cam.com/video/Me7kQNPJbUo/v-deo.html. Or mute this one! We have a few fishermen who were in the Marines, including the mate on this trip, Semper Fi & thanks for your service.
This channel is gold. I hope it will grow and reach more viewers so you can make a lot more videos like these to educate the city dwellers ❤
