- In this macro photography tutorial, we're using a cheap and simple bit of kit to make the most out of our bog-standard kit lens. The Raynox DCR-250 is a lightweight macro conversion lens that clips onto your normal lens to give it macro capabilities! We're testing it out using some pine cones and some creative lighting to create some abstract macro photos!

Morning Ben, another informative show thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching!
I really enjoy all your tutorials. I learn quite a bit from you. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic Ben this opens up all sorts of possibilities, never thought of attaching anything to a dedicated macro lens. Keep these coming 👍👍
It's a handy way to get some extra magnification without much effort or expense! Thanks for watching!
Nicely done, Ben. I too use the DCR-on my macro lens for extra reach. Thank you!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one!
Hi Ben! Hope you're well? Unfortunately my Raynox 250 doesn't fit on the Z mount lens on my Nikon Z5 so I'll have to get a lens for my D7000 and try that instead.
The Photography Show seems a long time ago now doesn't it? 🤨🤨😀😀
It does indeed! Shame about the Lens, it seems to fit most of the lenses I have here but I suppose there will be some outliers!
