I always recommend when I train new drivers to train your eyes to the driver aid sticker because at least where I'm from the majority of houses are 5+ numbers long and the stickers are always 3. I only tell them to use the address to verify. So if you're used to driver aid it will make sense to do the same for overflow
ah makes sense marking the house number more faster and easy.... organization is key makes it fast and simple ... going to apply next week after prime days are over lol i dont want to get slammed not knowing it well yet but watching lots of vids makes it easy to understand.. you just need to love to drive and walk around its a adventure like everyday... got to love that or else this job is not for you lol.. seeing is so many times lots dont like it they hire lots and come and go especially this time of year
Thanks for the video. I'm currently considering this for my next job. Can you answer two questions for me please?: 1. Is it consistent 40 hours a week year round? 2. Does your pay rate fluctuate at all depending the type of truck you drive on a given day? Thanks for the content.
1. I work at a dsp that pays hourly but will let you pick up 5th and 6th days if your a solid driver. 2. You get a raise to drive step van but if you drive a cargo van for one day you still get paid your regular rate same as step van.
Did your warehouse also change the label for overflow now?😭 its so hard to find now. And when you rescue someone how do we know what overflow goes w that tote😂. Apparently its to make the warehouse workers job easier

I remember talking to you in the past about Amazon. I never did that. I went on to self-employment delivering. Good work! Thanks for your service.
loving the frequency of the uploads. thumbs up.

Looks like a smooth day. I’m thinking you can put pkgs up front???
Yes, you can, just not at the station.
Why the hell the dont put numbers from 1 to 145 if you have 145 package to deliver on the boxes so you only follow the numbers.
Hello I’m driver on Seattle , mi question is do you film on GoPro or a phone 📱 thanks 😊 and be safe on de route 😊
I use both!

My DSP pays 40 hours guaranteed but not all DSPs do that. The pay is a little more for the step vans. Thanks for watching!!

@ronaldraygun3591 sounds about right
Forget it
How is it driving in the snow? I want to apply but I don’t think I can drive in snow with the vans
If the snow is that bad, Amazon won't make us drive in it. It's not bad
Do you ever get to drive the new Rivian van?
Unfortunately, no. This station doesn't have them yet.
Did your warehouse also change the label for overflow now?😭 its so hard to find now. And when you rescue someone how do we know what overflow goes w that tote😂. Apparently its to make the warehouse workers job easier
Omg it makes me angry that they did that! Makes absolutely no sense!
Does the job allow you to wear earbuds throughout the day? I'm told the camera doesn't track it.
Yes, you can wear earbuds
I am afraid of dogs! How often do you encounter loose dogs?
Not that often. Most of the time, they are friendly. There's no need to be scared. You don't have to deliver anything if it feels unsafe.
Great video, can you explain what a PA at the delivery does, kinda curious what they do
The delivery station workers are Amazon employees, if that's what you're referring to. What's the PA stand for?
@@krisp35 the process assistant 😃
Haha, yeah, so that's an Amazon employee, so I have no idea, lol.
You’ve been driving for like 2 years ?
Since August of 2021
How often do you have to bring a 50 pound box up the stairs in an apartment complex? Are most of the boxes not too heavy?
At least once or twice a week. It's pretty often that you get some heavy boxes
Are you using a chest mount and a go pro
It's a magnetic necklace type of mount and yes with a gopro
Hey are u still working there if so any advice/tips im suppose to be starting next week
I'm still here! Drive safely so you don't get hit with infractions!
We’re do I get work gloves like those
Amazon of course. I'll send the link

how is it going at Ray X
It's going good... who's this ? Lol
Good job not wearing your seatbelt. its just buckled to the seat... that seems safe
I'm not sure how to take this one, lol. I only do that when I'm in the neighborhoods. Not big highways or main roads.
@@krisp35 My DSP had recently banned us from using the seat belt trick due to the cameras in the vans tracking that as a saftey violation, smh. 😂💀

Great video I’m gonna work for Amazon after this summer
Where you been beautiful
I keep telling myself time to make a video but never get to it. Lol
How come ya don't even ring or knock on door to let em know? Ya I see ya take a pic but that's still not good enough
Because it's not required. We actually don't have to ring unless asked to by the customer in their notes.
Nothing's ever good enough lmao..
Half of the time, the notes say not to.
I don’t ring the bell because of babies and dogs 🤷🏽♂️
lol I like how the question was asked but never followed up on once they were proven wrong by her answer 😂 #trolls
