Think Positive, Thank you. I really like this new design and the black on black is nice. I’m happy with my purchase and just like you said, the Civic is dependable. Stay tuned for more videos. Thanks again 🙏
Nice in black. I like Aegean Blue Metallic and Sonic Grey Pearl, but all the colors are great. On any color other than black on the Sport, the Honda badges and emblems should be blacked out. Light legal smoke window tint is nice for any color. If you want the black cars to look real luxury, you could have the emblems, including the wheel logos and lugs gold, or get the black wheel lugs and locks, so you only have to do the wheel hubs. The auto remote start and window roll down was available on the previous 10th Generation Civic Sport, but the 2022 allows you to disable that feature in settings, so you don't accidentally roll them down from your keyfob in your pocket with other objects pressing the buttons and opening your windows with rain or dust, or leaving you car unsecured. Lots of videos show more hidden features. The auto start/stop feature is a zonk that adds excessive wear on your engine over time, but at least it can be disabled, but you have to do it everytime you start your engine. I heard it doesn't shut off in Sport mode, but not sure if you also have to activate Sport Mode everytime you start the engine. I also heard that the Si has custom driver settings that you can disable the auto start/stop feature. Things that the 2022 Sport lost that was on the 2021, probably to keep the price the same was the omission of the LED foglights, now only on the Touring Sedan. The door and center console armrests are now cloth, instead of leatherette, and the rear seat folds down in one piece, not the 60/40 configuration now only on the EX and Touring trim. The LED foglight kit may be available later as a dealer installed accessory, but probably not for a while until they can build up production to have enough inventory, but may be able to be put on back order. It seems you have weather mats. Wheel locks is also a must. I heard the stereo is decent, albeit not the Bose in the Touring, but the amp and speakers and a subwoofer can be added by a good stereo shop if desired. I would stick with quality brands, and a subwoofer(s) that are out of the way. Not being a turbo, I would not modify the running gear much. Maybe put an aftermarket stock replacement air filter element like from K & N or other companies. 27Won has a nice front strut tower brace for this car. A muffler delete sounds nice, like an aftermarket exhaust without the added cost. Otherwise, I wouldn't mess with the engine. Brake and suspension upgrade components are, or probably be available more as time goes by. The Sport is nice as is, with all the good basics, without the added cost, or power accessories, leather seats, moonroof and added tech for the infotainment system, and instrument panel. Although, Honda is reliable, less to go wrong without the more fancier options and equipment. The optional HPD appearance package is nice, but only if you really want it, it was already on the car at the dealership, and you're willing to spend the $1500 extra. You can get the front, side, rear diffiser, and rear deck spoiler separately. I would only get the rear spoiler. The Si has a much nicer rear spoiler than the ine fron the HPD package for the Sedan The Sport looks great as is, and you can use the money on other things. Many spoilers are available, like one from Spoiler King, which is nice, if you want one, and is already black to color match your car. It has a notch like the Si spoiler but not as large and contoured.
jjacob, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you on certain things such as the the additional wear and tear on your engine with the auto start/stop. The car could have been better. For example, electric seats or at least for the driver. That feature is only available on the touring. I wanted the touring but I couldn’t find it in black. The 3 main things I like about the touring are the wheels, the sunroof and the built in wireless charging pad for your cell phone. Overall I’m happy with the Sport. Thanks for sharing and stay tuned for more videos. 👍
@@JohnnysWhips I edited the typos for my comment, and added some additional remarks. I really prefer the automatic, but totally like the new Si for all the upgrades, enhancements, and what got me was the Bose System with the wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, which I was hoping they would add, but wasn't sure. They did. But no wireless charging like the Touring. It was an available add on OEM accessory for the previous 10th Generation Civics, but I don’t know if it's available for the new 11th Generation 2022+ model. All the equipment on the Sport, except the deletions the 10th Generation had is fine with me. I know they are trying to keep cost down for the Sport and Si to offer what it has. That's why manual adjust seats, which is fine with me, unless I get a Touring. Less things to break. I had issues with old school car power seats, and such. Probably better now, especially with Honda, but yes, the configurations with most options as add on accessories keeps manufacturing costs down. The Sunroof I can live without, unless it comes with the trim level model. The wheels are from the last version 10th Generation Civic Sport Hatchbacks. The Sport wheels are used on the 18" Sport/Sport Touring Hatchback snd also Si with different finishes.
Good choice. The Mustang is nice, but the ecoboost engines is problematic. The Honda turbos are more reliable if you don't thrash it, but I prefer the N/A 2.0L engine. It's much more reliable.
Nice!!!! More spacious interior than the mustang so you’ll probably be more comfortable. How do you like it so far? What are some pros and cons in your opinion? One thing I don’t like is that the driver seat is not electric.
