Hello puppy dogs!!!! 🐶🐶 they looked so sweet in the intro!!! Mr Strutter's little bow tie!!! I literally for my birthday asked for a cd boombox player. I got one in 2006, for my 10th birthday, HOWEVER when I was about 14 I got rid of it, as "I don't need one anymore, I have an ipod". Cut to the ipod click wheel not working anymore and having to recycle it when I got out of HS. I kept 95% of my cds, and only regret getting rid of 1. I'm just glad I'll have a nice little boombox again to play my cds!!!

Awsome video man for me the remastered cds are my middle and high school versions and i have all them i dont have every single kiss cd i just have all the remasters cause thats what i got for christmas and birthday sonic boom i was in middle school when that came out i was there day 1 to get it i walked out of wal-mart with sonic boom rock and roll over and love gun when monster came out i was 17 and that one sneaked up on me i had no idea kiss made a new album and for me birthday i get the new kiss album and i thought thats cool have a great weekend my man and take care
Those orginal CDs that started coming out in the late 80s are fantastic... George Marino did the mastering to CD and sound fantastic... So glad I've kept all my original KISS CD issues....

@graemeknowles1431 So true, George Marino is synonymous with quality rock masterings. I didn't keep them all back then, stupidly I gave in to the hype and got the remasters in 1997, but have re-bought the old ones later.
The way I found out what the kiss CD catalog was. the very end of the vhs kiss X-treme close up. I was like I want them lol. And that vhs is not the whole kisstory but believed it that's the fun of being a kiss fan I watched that vhs over and over again lol great times. Thanks for making great content 🎉

I bought the remasters, but don't care for them at all, they're just 'here'. Btw, that Asylum is only SHM, not MQA, that was limited to the 4 compilations you mention. It was actually your post the other day, that made me think I need to give it another shot. I don't' know what was up with me at the time? Honestly it was probably dog related LOL. I had moved into a duplex with Dan in Kansas City, had to keep my dog in St Joe, I didn't really give a hoot about much, because I missed my dog (Lady). Crazy how things like that impact what you should enjoy at the time. I will give it another shot, I'm sure it will feel more fun this go round. Have a great weekend.

Collecting tangible musical product is somewhat reinvigorating the former music industry. It is likely more a generational thing that drives people to prefer vinyl or compact disc. I do find those who collect vinyl will also seek out old 8-track tapes from back in the day. My high school KISS records were KISS Alive 2, Double Platinum, 4-Solo albums, Dynasty and Unmasked. With the exception of the Solo albums I bought every other KISS album upon their first day of release (and I was in high school). I am still hoping for a North American issued KISS Originals 2, finding one of the original Japanese pressings intact is a holy grail for me.
I love those high school KISS records! It's crazy you mentioned 8-Tracks, because that is something that has never stuck with me. I love them, I think they are super cool. (Granted, I don't have a player currently...which could lead to me not currently collecting them), but I also don't ever recall having an 8-track player growing up. I remember our family turn table, and a cassette player. I have always wondered if that is why I shy away from 8-tracks. Love those memories my friend! Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes! I remember the Peter Solo was a late one for me to purchase, I can't recall enjoying it as a teenager, but today, it's one of my favorites. It just has a 'feel' to it. I think I looked far beyond it being a "KISS" record, and took it for what it was, kind of a disco-AM Radio late 70's gem. Weird how that works. Have a great Sunday!

It seemed to me...that when CD's started showing up in stores...the one (and only) KISS cd i would always come across was KISS UNMASKED which was strange. This had to be around the late '87 maybe

Totally get it with the collecting - but man, those 80/early 90s Kiss CDs were thin as a sheet as far as the sound and audio mix. The 1996 Remasters are so much better to my ears.
