Pretty please do Elvis "Hurt," my all-time favorite song.
I saw Elvis in concert in June 1976 in Buffalo, NY, and he did “Hurt” twice in a row. He sounded exactly the same both times. Loved it & him 😍🥰💖‼️
Wow!!
Already reacted to "Hurt". You can check it out on my channel 😊 What a great song!
I would also like it here the song Hurt
Elvis Presley I believe he's saying in this song. Don't judge me just Love me we're all God's children.
Thanks, John. If we all could only think the way this song is asking us to. But it's a big wide world and I don't see that happening, sad to say. Great job by Elvis and yes, he's looking good here. 👍💖
I totally agree with you Brenda 😊👍

John Gibson you are a true gentleman you have that soft speaking non intrusive reserved about you . And there is respect, compassion, empathy and creativity open hearted n e s s toward artist and people I'm so glad I discovered you on UA-cam and I hope you grow your Channel and I will spread the word as much as I can I'm learning how to navigate my cell phone this device. Thank you for your Channel and you have a wonderful aha moment everyday of your life. I would like to send you and request when they are wonderful stories of Elvis I'm wondering if you could react to that there other people that knew him really knew him and talk about him with a lot of heart and soul. And I believe that if Elvis had met you he would have included you as his friend he like warm people authentic types and so do I
There is a site where is titled Elvis we were there it's about when Elvis Presley President vet with Nixon Jerry Schiller a guest along with I think Bob Crow who used to work in the White House is his name even if you cannot react to it because it's about an hour long and the moderator if a Professor forget his name but it was calling believe again Elvis we were there and I think it's interesting so even if you cannot react to it or if you get part of it and react to it that would be great you could at least access it on your own time and then maybe comment on it thought I would share that with you I'll be sharing with you some other future websites that is if you enjoyed it and respond to this one okie dokie thank you again
Yes Jerry in the form of text pardon me that I didn't edit it better when I said the word vet it was meant to be the word met
Hi Janine! Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean a lot to me. I'm so glad that you enjoy my videos. It's great to have you as a viewer. Have a great day!
You’re really knowledgeable about the band members. Thanks so much for your video reactions. Love them.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it 😊
Hi John!
This song, because of the lyrics, has become my anthem. I have the title tattooed on my forearm. There is another version he did with another verse. It's almost three minutes long. The lyrics of that verse really talk about the meaning behind the song.
I live with Bipolar Disorder. Bipolar 1, the more severe form. I deal with buttheads all the time not taking the time to know me before judging me. Elvis's music is my saving grace.
Thanks for another great reaction!
Thank you so much Mark! It's so wonderful that Elvis' music helps you to get better. I wish you all the best. Have a great day!
thank you John for your reaction. .I always appreciate your opinions coming from your professional music background. A funny story....you know he was a prankster. His orchestra's conductor Joe Guercio said in an interview that because Elvis was always changing his mind on stage about songs.. that following him was like following a marble bouncing down a staircase. Well...Elvis heard about this and decided to get even so he had thousands of marbles put in Joes closet at the Hilton. So to get back at Elvis the orchestra and band put hundreds of marbles on the stage before he was to perform. When he walked out on stage he struggled to keep his balance while trying to make it to the microphone. ..what a character he was !!!! NEVER DULL WITH E AROUND...HA!
Thank you so much! What a great and funny story! Thanks for sharing Susy.
I feel this speasks of his life.I will find a few other songske. that most people like. I'm sure you did The getto. He has always loved gospel more than the other songs. He had a lot of heath issues n was a very lonesome man he said n didn't want to be called King, Jesus was king of all kings n he was only an entertainer. He read the bible everyday. He knew it well. The RX drugs he took to take away the pain n being so lonely. That is why the drugs numbed him to be able to go on stage. Sorry for this long post
Anyway You Want Me (That's How I Will Be) By Elvis The King Of Music, Please Check It Out
I'll check it out for sure 😊
Great song and done so well by Elvis and his back up band. Thanks for reviewing this :)
You can tell he was raised in a southern church due to the beat of the music. You actually missed a small story before the beginning
You never stood in that man's shoes,or saw things through his eyes
Stood and watched with helpless hands while the heart inside you dies
So help your brother along the way no matter where he starts
For the same God that made you, made him too, these men with broken hearts. If you haven't done so yet, listen to him singing If I Can Dream(the video with him in a white suit,1968)You will love it.He wrote it for Martin Luther King just after his assassination.
Great comment. Already listened to it. You can check it out on my channel. Have a great day!

Another fantastic song and reaction John, thank you! I am sorry this one left out the story Elvis tells before going into the performance. It is truly touching! (there is also a missing verse in this live performance)

I'll check it out! 😊
This song speaks of this sad world that we live in. I know I've had to deal with a situation in my own life that this song deals with. A poem of mine Tears Of Shame is not exactly like this, but tells of how our Lord's are the rain ☔☔☔ from the hurt he watches in the 🌎. Beautiful song!😊 Sorry for the long reaction. Was wondering g if you listened to "We Can Make The Morning" yet? I know you are busy and don't mean to pester you.
I totally agree with you Rebecca 😊 I listened to it! What a beautiful song it is. Great lyrics and a wonderful melody 😍 Thank you very much for sharing.
You're so very welcome John. I was keeping my fingers crossed that you would like it. I don't understand why it didn't become a big hit for him, but like most of his in the seventies it just seemed to get looked over. So sad in my opinion.
Yes you are right! This is sad 😢
Hi john that was great you are doing alot of fab songs of elvis could you do crawfish it is a fabulous song out of his movie trudy and myself picked it you will love it also if you could do roy orbinson song lana it is great have a nice day god bless take care barbara from australia
Thank you so much Barbara. I'll definitely check them Songs out 😊👋 Have a great day and god bless! - John
" Man With Broken Hearts" von Hank Williams.
"If I Can Dream", "In The Gettho", oder eben dieses.
Hallo Alamea! Gebe dir in all deinen Punkten recht.
There's another video of this that is longer. It has some spoken lyrics at the beginning of a song called Men With Broken Hearts" Here it is: ua-cam.com/video/T2n56lvDzGU/v-deo.html
Thank you!
Hi, can you please react the song title of the movie Change of habit, whose has the same name Change of habit. Thank you!!
I'll check it out 😊
Reaction"Medley rock" 1974 please please please please thanks 🤗😏👑🕺🙏😘
I'll check it out 😊
this is a short version
This isn't the full song. There is an entire verse missing
You missed the intro!!!!
Hello again I sorry I know I already commented but there is another classic from Simon and Garfunkel called the Boxer ua-cam.com/video/MYPJOCxSUFc/v-deo.html and so many others including Scarborough Fair/Canticle as well thank you!!!
Thank you! I'll put them on my list 😊
Too bad it's not the video that goes with the lyrics.
Don't know the point of taking lyrics from an actual live performance
and piecing it with random clip.
There is a live version
Yes I agree! Didn't find the original one..
Hey John...another great video by you!..hope you still will react to Jeff Buckley "Lover, You Should've Come Over" it's a 5 star Classic! thanks again John! ua-cam.com/video/HxfE6PJmGS8/v-deo.html
BS version that had never meant to be put out. The version off of the On Stage 1970 album is far superior to this one. The audio on this was clearly crap. That's why it wasn't released while Elvis was alive.
Elvis presley saying Don't judge me just LOVE ME,,,,,,WALK A MILE IN YOUR BROTHER SHOES BEFORE YOU JUDGE HIM were all God's people.
Another great choice John. Never got to see Elvis ☹️ but did see his band in Newcastle UK, even got to shake Jerry Scheffe's hand
@ JAZ
I KNOW SO FAR RONNIE TUUT,JAMES BURTON AND GLEN HARDING ARE STILL ALIVE. JOE GUERCO ORCHESTRA LEADER PASSED LAST YEAR AND MOST OF THE MEMPHIS MAFIA DIED IN THE MIDDLE TO LATTER PART OF THE PAST DECADE . WHY COULDN'T ELVIS . THEY WERE ALL A FEW YEARS YOUNGER OR CLOSE TO HIS AGE NOW? THEY LIVED 40 T0 45 YEARS. WHY DID HE HAVE TO GO SO SOON. BESIDES THE OBIVIOUS REASONS
I BELIEVE THEY COULD HAVE HELPED HIM,ESPECIALLY COLONEL TOM, HE WORKED HIM TO DEATH THAT LAST YEAR. RLVIS WOULD BE IN 15 CITIES IN 15 NIGHTS.GO HONE A MONTH OR SO AND READY TO GO. OF COURSE I KNOW ELVIS LOVED TO BE ON STAGE AND ENTRTAIN HIS FANS. BUT HE WAS DO TIRED AT THE END.
A.K.A ELVIS JUNKIE
Elvis presley saved 🙏
Bill Mitchell I'm glad that you requested this where John Gibson which is a delightful host and by the way walk a mile in my shoes I remember a favorite of mine that I haven't heard it in years so I thank you that you requested for John Gibson to play it
Total package.
Reaction "I can't stop loving you" Las Vegas 1970🙏🎺🎸🥁
I'll check it out. Thank you 😊
Around that time, he was criticized for not doing any protest songs; hence, in the ghetto and just a few others. He did address it as to wishing to keep his thoughts to himself and just entertain.
The first time I saw Elvis back in 73 right up front he owed that stage dripping with charisma what a gift from god you should play you will never walk alone thanks
THANK YOU. THANK YOU VERY MUCH😃😃👍
You're welcome Bill! 😊
LOVED IT ELVIS
That's short.
Pls review ALL 650 of Elvis' recordings
I'll try my best 😁
@@johngibsonmusic cool thnx
