GBO2 Full Armor Gundam [TB]: Speed demon of 500 cost!

- This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 FA Gundam TB. It is a 500-550 cost space raid with extremely high mobility, great stagger accumulation, high ranged damage output and good stunlock ability. It has weaknesses though, such as turning slowly until the shields are destroyed and it lacking the high melee burst damage of other 500 raids. I think that this suit is incredibly powerful but also incredibly hard at the same time. It is very combo reliant and needs you to be able to improvise on the spot for combo routes. Its insane mobility lets you outpace anything else at 500-550 cost though. The first match was a really solid win and while the second was unfortunately a loss, it was a very high damage match. The primary ranged weapon of the FA TB is a double beam rifle with 900x2 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 37%x2 heat, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 350m range and 40%x2 stagger value. This has nice damage and high stagger value, but does not instant stagger. You can use this to combo into your shoulder missiles for easy stuns or after your other stuns/melee to dump damage.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 1900 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap, 70% combo modifier and 150% downswing modifier. The power is actually rather decent due to the high modifiers, about the same as a 2200 power saber. It has a very awkward moveset though due to it being held in the left hand with a narrow set of swings. Downswing is a stab with good reach.
Its first sub weapon is a left arm rocket launcher with 1000 power, 5 ammo, 6.3 seconds cooldown, 17.5 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 80% stagger value. This is awkward to hit on smaller moving targets and is stop to fire, but instant stuns and serves as a good restagger tool. On fatter suits you can use this to open with or if you are close up.
Its second sub weapon is a 6 tube missile pod with 350 power, 6 ammo, 220 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 35% stagger value. This has fair damage output and high stagger value, but can also be fired while boosting. This makes approaching very easy in this suit since you can stun from behind the protection of your MA skill.
Its third sub weapon is a missile bay with 250x12 power, 12 ammo, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 450m range and 4%x12 stagger value. This cannot stagger on its own and stops to fire, but quickly fires an entire salvo of missiles at the enemy. Very effective to dump damage with after a heavy stagger or melee knockdown.
Its fourth sub weapon is a large beam cannon with 2400 power, 100% heat, 30 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time and 550m range. This is stop to fire and has a long cooldown time, but shoots a high damage heavy stagger. This weapon lets you potentially wreck supports from midrange if you can connect with your entire arsenal, but be aware of enemies looking to interrupt you when you stop.
It also has 4 large shields with 3000 HP. These have amazing coverage and will surely take a few hits for you, but they slow down your turning speed quite a bit until they are destroyed. Make sure to bring Field Motor parts to compensate.
The FA TB has 14000 HP, 24 beam/ballistic resist and 6 melee resist. This seems very squishy at first but you are decently durable when considering your shields. You should still be very careful in melee distance against other suits though. FA TB has the combination of both LV1 Emergency Evasion and LV2 Maneuver Armor as is standard for a 500 raid, though it also has LV1 Shield Break Mastery to not be stunned if its shields are broken by ranged attacks.
It also has 145 walk speed, 225 boost speed, 80 thrust and 81 turning speed. This is absolutely beyond insane mobility, especially when you consider that its ascend and descend speed while holding L1/L2 but not boosting is higher than even GP01Fb. The only suit that can really out maneuver it is the 700 cost Sinanju, while Psycho Zaku [TB] can match it. FA TB also has LV2 Forced Injector as is standard for 500 cost raids.
I am of course a bit frustrated that the second match was a loss, but overall I am very happy with the FA TB and think it is one of the strongest 500 cost raids. If not for Schuzrum Galluss and Nightseeker Space Type, it would be the strongest 500 cost space raid for sure. Even over these two, it has boosting stuns and high ranged output at its disposal. This suit definitely isn't for everybody, as it demands a high degree of skill in space maneuvering along with combo skills. But if you are the type of player that enjoys hard to learn suits with explosive mobility, then FA TB is probably the suit for you. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

This may be a hot take, but space combat in this game feels like it let's you utilize a wider degree of skill. While I won't say it outright takes more skill, since being good with more limited mobility on the ground requires you being very good with those tools, suits like this just really give me more of that thrill for pushing my playstyle to a higher caliber.

@VirtuaFighter6 the biggest problem with space is the maps. I feel like, aside from asteroid belt. They don't allow you to leverage the advantages of space very well. Many of the maps are just long stretches of open space that just make it a ranged poke battle for the majority of the match.
It does take more skill, that's absolutely true
@@fadedmogli5179 I mean, ranged poke battles take skill, just a different skillset. It involves a lot more zigzagging and avoiding shots as you retaliate with counter fire. Plus you could use stealth suits to sneak in a few kills while the other team is occupied with not being turned into Swiss cheese by that stupid pale rider's gattling gun

Ahh yes, my favorite suit in space. Before the buffs I had to make room for turning speed, now it's just beneficial to add one in the first place. Saves me adding more reload parts or be an ahole to increase health on my shields lol

Actually both of the soundtrack is from Gundam Lost War Chronicles. Which one is call heat, other is named Lost War Chronicles. GBO2 doesn't have original soundtrack and every sound comes from side stories, lost war chronicles is one of them.
I always play some jazz when i run the MS. I feel more like Io Fleming when I do that, especially if I start popping off.
If you are never play some jazz when playing this suit you are playing the suit wrong.
Just realized, this is the only FA type gundam that has dodge roll ability
Dang, I've never tried any of these combos before. This is my goto 500 raid for space, and I've found it's best for playing keepaway and chip damage and chasing down retreating enemies with low health going for repairs. The stop to shoot weapons are an odd choice for a suit that's all about never standing still, and I've never once gotten the missle barrage to ever do anything productive for me hahaha.
I used to play it as a pure shooter as well but the melee can hit for harder than you might expect because of the modifiers. It is really fun to move so fast and have an entire arsenal to shoot.

only issues w the suit are its stiff and stops to fire certain weps and some ready hella slow
if it got that fixed it would be crack probably
also pulled lvl 3 type1 xeku and 700 zee today
type one heavy is way harder to pull off at 700
zee zulu at 700 is a menace and makes people panic so hard lol
it can absolutely one combo or near one combo any suit and im using lvl 3 claws and an insanely basic parts build

Is manoeuvring in a high mobility suit hard?I have a hard time getting the hang of it and you seem to be comfy with it in the vid
I think it sort of is. High turning speed is difficult to handle, and to take full advantage of the boosting and walking speed you need to be adept at space controls.
Really wish they let you move while firing the left arm missiles
Just played 500 on space with G-05 bst, it was satisfying/frustating that I combo melee x3 one and each hit = 1 shield break xD
Otherwise, I enjoy bully them with my G-05 bst 😏

Got 4 shields but no active guard, kinda weird for a raid to have active guard though 😅

The shields slow down the turning speed, so the turning speed parts are needed to compensate I think.
