You guys are legit the best at this. Your music sounds amazing. I rock this out in surgery all the time. Luckily my patients are asleep otherwise they would see a head bobbing Dio finger throwing surgical team handling business to some kick ass music! Keep the journey rolling!
6:51 was already one of the greatest pieces of ending / credits roll music in videogame history. To hear a metal interpretation of it is mind blowing. Wow.
You always come up with the best guitar arrangements that really capture the spirit of already phenomenal Konami tunes man. I would pay good money to hear your take on Bucky O'Hare.
The whole idea with all of these was always to stay as true to the original as possible while endowing it with the already present METAL that was inherent on the NES versions! \m/ ROCK ON BRUDDA
This cover is easily the best one out there, but let's not take away from the fact that this is without question the best video game soundtrack ever created. I know a lot of people love Castlevania and Zelda, but the melodies in this one are just top notch... Whoever wrote this, wherever you are, alive or dead, you are a treasure of my childhood. So many rainy days and allnighters spent playing the shit out of Contra and Tecmo Super Bowl...
Dear Hollywood movie industry, since there exists almost none 80s franchise untouched by you, please if you'll EVER do a Contra movie, get in contact with VomitroN about the soundtrack!
Contra on the NES was my second ever video game right after Mario Bros. I played the shit out of Contra ever since. Back in 2003 when I discovered OCRemix, Contra was one of the first games I searched and I immediately fell in love with your cover version. Just after hearing your legendary metal version the very first time it dawned on me that this was the sound the 8-bit version must have intended but couldn't technically do back then. I immediately fell in love with your cover and have heard it so often ever since that in my mind and memory it has completely replaced the original (still awesome) 8-bit OST. Yours was a cover done perfectly. Its blasting sound, the technicalilty, staying so true to the original while enhancing it and the fact it was a complete 8-minute long medley made it stand out among all the other cover versions done by other artists. I will definitely listen to this version for the next decades to come!
Reset album is even better. Thank you almighty Vomitron for redoing this classic legendary album!! Drummer is unreal. 🥁

An old school upload. Nice!
Every version of this tune is awesome. Even the freakin early 2000s demo.

Is the girl on the album cover your girlfriend? ;)
She's a model. Her name is Jessica Kedski.
This definitely sucked a lot less than every other weapon besides the spread fire.
