Thanks Paul for the Messerschmitt Bf-108 - Restoration Update.......
Shoe🇺🇸
Omg that DB605. Bf109 project???? 😍
Still my favorite restoration to watch!
Nice going. Thank you.
Thanks Kermit & Company.
This must be the most detailed and faithful restoration of any 108 ever. It's glorious to see.
When Paul smiles about new parts that have been made you know you’ve made a restorers day.
Thank you Paul so much for taking time to do these, very much appreciated! So many details in a small aircraft. Beautiful work, and that engine is stunning!
I ♥️ the BF-108 restoration project.
Thanks for the updates.
Love this project and the great updates. thanks
Who doesn't have a couple of spare crated Argus engines? LOL! Love this series (and the Jenny) more than I can say. Thanks, Kermit and Paul!
Yeah, I have a bunch of those in the chicken coop!
Lovely Lovely Lovely - Thanks Paul !
COOL🤗👍👍👍 LOVE the shop and what you folks do,.. Thank You Paul and Thank You Kermit.
I just love this project - thank you for the update
thanks for the up date Paul.
Thanks Paul. This makes my 1973 Ford Maverick restoration much less frustrating.
I cannot comprehend the amount of patience and dedication required to accomplish the restorations you are able to do. You are a most talented person. I am most appreciative of Kermit for financing these projects but he could not have any success without talented people like you. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
not to mention the MONEY!
Perfection is possible when money is no object. We do back to service restorations where I work and the owners are upset about buying new seatbelts..it's difficult
I know what you mean , they want it all without paying Lol
Thanks a lot for this nice update, I really enjoy your restoration diary !! Greetings from Germany !
I'm always happy top see updates on the BF-108!
Great to see the update - thanks Paul. :)
Awesome I love this series
Hi, Paul, Thanks for another update on the Bf-108. I could just hear the exitement in your voice as you described the crated "new" restoration of the Argus Engine. I know it will be very happy in it's new home. I can just imagine the excitement that must be building up as the day draws nearer to the final completion of this restoration. God Bless and stay safe.
Love this restore project, keep it comin'
A continuing reward to learn from you and yours!
Finally, i've been looking forward to another an update - many thanks. Very nice engine.
These are the episodes I look forward to.

Retired Air Force veteran.

Thanks Paul, always interesting! 👍😃
This will be such a beautiful plane thanks to your great work!
That's awesome. I've said this before but I could watch Paul talk about his work all day. (And a few days I actually have!)
Wow Paul. Thanks for the update. It's going to be an amazing flying restoration. Beautiful looking engine too.
Paul and Kermit, thank you so much for these awesome restoration updates. PLEASE give an update on the Bf-109. Showcasing the DB-605 engine was an incredible teaser. I would also love to hear about your Sikorsky S-38. Thanks again guys!
Thank's Paul
First - Wow! Fantastic engine to go back into the airplane. That looks absolutely amazing. Secondly - Paul is the pefect man for this job. He really knows his stuff. I like that he pays attention to the details in his work! Im anxious to see the end result. I'm sure it will be well worth all of the effort.
What a great project and a wonderful work
Superlative - make my life better - THANK YOU !
Hey Mr Weeks. I hope you’re doing well. You’re awesome
Just went back to rewatch the part about the engine. You must have lost you mind when you opened that box. What a gorgeous engine.
Excellent update, many thanks.
amazing watch, thank you so much for sparing your time.
I hope that one day I will be able to see this fly. Keep up the good work.
Hi Paul I always look forward to the ME 108 project. Wow it's so kool and you sir are doing a great job. God bless you
Fascinating, as always. TFP
Great video!
Thank You Sir for the content in your love for air craft. I am able to injoy a joy I have always wanted to injoy but unable to. God Bless and thank you
Always look forwards to seeing you work on this project. 👍🏻
I gasped when I saw the engine reveal, that is absolutely beautiful
Looking good Kermit.....awesome
Great job Paul very informative, can't wait for more Mechanic's Corner. Steve.
Thanks Paul what a legend! Awesome video
This was just wonderful, start to finish! I was going into Paul Withdrawal! So needed the fix! All for fun! Thank you!
Thank you for the update, very interesting details.
Such an awesome plane! Can't wait to see it all completed and watch it fly!!
Nice work Paul!!
Good progress!
any chance we could see progress on the BF109 project too?? thanks
Loved every minute of it , thank you very much for the update.
Thank you for the update.
Thanks for the update it’s always great to hear how the projects are coming along. I like the engine Paul found for the Bf-108 it looks amazing. It would be great also to a see an update on your Bf-109 so cool that you have one being rebuilt.
Nice to see the 108 coming along. There are a couple of those (wikipedia says 4) flying in Germany and I saw some of them at the Hahnweide Vintage Aircraft Meeting in 2019. This one will probably be the best and shiniest of the lot, but it's still good to see those others flying.
This is why I’ve been waiting for!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You guys have all the fun!
That thing is ,is going to be awesome, great video
Love this project…
Fantastic effort great work Paul, even though it's slow going the end product will be worth it.
Keep up the great work! Thanks Paul for the update. Love the 108!
Brilliant
That is going to be a magnificent aircraft when you finish. Been following all the videos
I am, I think, likely just as much a prop-driven warbird fan as is Kermit - albeit without the funding to preserve them as he does. KUDOS!
That said - there is something about the 108 which makes it just as beautiful and exciting to see coming back to life under Paul's guidance as would be any military aircraft. Such a beauty!
Thank you, Kermit, Paul, and the rest of the amazing staff there at FoF for sharing these informative and educational 'behind the scenes' videos. :)
Let see some of that PBY action soon! Another great bird!!! :D
UA-cam recommended a few BF-108 flight videos for me during the last week or so. Apparently the algorithm KNEW your update was imminent! 😆 Thank you for keeping us in the loop !
Thank you Paul! These are always fantastic!
That engine is gorgeous….so happy it’s survived and will fly again.
Great work Paul. Maybe someday someone will fly it.
Took a while, but I've had my 108 fix! Great to see that things are moving forward & I can't wait to hear that engine fired up!
Phenomenal work Mr Paul your vids are terrific. Bonus engine!
Thanks again for another wonderful episode Paul.
Can we also get to see the work you are doing on the PBY? As it is my favourite aircraft! And the C47/DC3 is a close second
What a gorgeous engine !
The fortune of finding the engine for the projects looking like it does in house, is a great way to ease the schedule given the other work at hand. Thanks for the update it's always appreciated.
Hurray! I have enjoyed these bf108 restoration videos and will continue to watch your progress. But, the PBY restoration has begun, apparently. My all time favorite airplane. Is Kermit thinking about a restoration blog on the PBY?
Great job Paul! That crated Argus looks stunning, its a display item itself!!
Some of the best content on youtube....when you can get it lol
Fantastic work! But drilling out that bulkhead on your back must have been like Michelangelo working on the Sistine chapel ceiling
Thanks for the new video Paul. Been looking forward to seeing the ongoing restoration.
How wonderful is this ! Enjoying every episode of this restoration! Well done, I can't wait to see the finished article !
Great work and great to see those amazing engines best wishes to you from NZ.😉
Love it. This is my favorite project. LOVE that rebuilt engine. Looks perfect!
Excellent update!
That is a beautiful engine.
Looking Good 👍
So awesome! I hope PHAM does something like this with their Val restoration!
Woo lets go! Love this series.
Thank you for this great update. It‘s always s pleasure to watch the work on the Bf-108. This restoration process is one of the best documented restorations so far. BTW any chance on an Mechanic‘s Corner update on the Bf-109?
Amazing how much effort goes into these beautifully restored aircraft. Thank you Paul for the great videos. Cheers from Finland!
Love from Texas to Kermit and the team, this was all good ! Keep doing what you are doing ! ALSO please post more old videos of Kermits flying days, I /we really love those ! They may be a repeat but as Coca Cola said, the audience is always new and haven't seen us ! Yet !
More kermit old History posts please, whilst you make new history !
Man that Power Plant is gorgeous ! After watching several of the Teams Restoration you are a Cut Above many ,the attention to Detail is better than Original sometimes . Thanks Kermit ,the number of Aircraft you and your Team have Saved is a Valuable Irreplaceable, History of Many Different Variations ! Warm Regards 🦘🇦🇺🇺🇸
Great to see you back full marks to you for finding small items that could be fatal if they failed; and having new parts made. Thanks
Over the episodes, I've gone from not being that interested to being very interested. Kermit, I hope you give rides in this gorgeous aircraft, one day. I'll definitely be at the front of the line.
Will the new bulkhead be made out of magnesium or aluminum? Also what’s the plan for the PBY?
A short but great episode. But as a Catalina fan, it's nice to see it got also some love!
It may look strange that you don't have any CNC, but required skills aside, I don't think that such airplanes have a lot of machined parts outside the motor. The Vega, being in wood, has surely more of theses to fit parts together.
Great .Bird - LQQKing fwd to more vids ( ...and its maiden flight !)
hey, slw and steady wins the race!
