- Futian District is an administrative division of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Located in the central area of Shenzhen, it is one of the city's commercial, financial, and cultural centers.
Futian District was one of the pioneers of Shenzhen's economic reform, implementing the policy of the Special Economic Zone in the early stages of China's economic opening. Today, Futian has developed into one of the most advanced, dynamic, and international cities in China.
Futian is home to many well-known domestic and international companies and high-tech firms, such as Huawei, Tencent, and Foxconn. These companies have not only brought economic prosperity but also injected strong impetus into the technological innovation and development of Futian. Additionally, Futian has many cultural, artistic, and entertainment facilities, such as the Shenzhen Concert Hall, OCT Bay, and Window of the World, providing a rich and diverse living experience for residents and tourists.
In summary, Futian District is a vibrant, innovative, and opportunistic city, attracting people from all over the world to explore and develop.

The key point is: you can walk the streets at 3:00am without worrying about become victim of robbery. Most importantly, there is no drug addicts and homeless. And this is true in all Chinese cities.
The key point is: China is a disguised dictatorship. The detention of drugs is sanctioned with death, in worse cases. Google Facebook Twitter etc are blocked. Casino doesn’t exist as they are forbidden. You have to have your passeport on yourself at all times, police randomly check citizens, in the bus for example. If you don’t, it’s straight to the police station. You have to declared yourself to the police station when you’re visiting the country, if you’re staying at the hotel, they doing it for you. Never photograph any cop or official buildings. Surveillance camera absolutely everywhere even in private places. So yeah, you don’t see a homeless person because idk wtf they do to them. Being homeless is not a disease, but it probably is in China. They made the choice of control and security, but sacrificed freedom. Sometimes I was even scared to do something wrong even in the common manners that it was ridiculous. But yeah nice lights

I grow up at Shenzhen and now I'm an international student in Canada, I've been to all the big cities in Canada, I've also been to US east, like Boston, NY, Orlando etc. In my opinion, I would say Shenzhen is still the most modernized city I've ever been to.

I lived here for a while and it was the most incredible time of my life. It's amazing a lot of people still haven't heard of Shenzhen. 0:08 is one of the first places I went to when I arrived. Seeing it again here was a real thrill.

I lived in Shenzhen for 4 years. One of my favorite places. Very safe, easy to navigate, and not too expensive. It gets very humid and hot in the summer, though!
Who cares about safety? Such a strange thing to say. I can’t imagine Europeans looking at safety rankings and choosing Switzerland over Italy for a holiday because crime stats are better. That would be weird. I much prefer Mexico to China. Love China but I prefer Mexico. Crime stats don’t bother me .same with New York . I wouldn’t choose Geneva because it’s safer. Couldn’t care less.
