Cloth Bag Drive Organized by Rakshak Foundation Covered by Zee 24 Ghanta

Rakshak Foundation is organizing a "Cloth Bag Drive" to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor of Kolkata on 1st December 2019 in Chetla, to provide low-cost alternatives to plastic bags for a sustainable environment. This initiative towards women empowerment and environment conservation is being led by a women cluster of Chetla, targeting sustainability and adaptability through the use of eco-friendly bags made from up-cycled clothes. In this era of Sustainable Initiatives towards Global Warming, this is a modest step taken by Bengal for combating Climate Change and Plastic Pollution by adopting the 3 R's Reduce - Reuse - Recycle.
