Yeah the information isn't there but we were told that they do offer it. It's pretty common for companies to offer this but I would double-check with the company - you could always book to ask and then cancel within 24 hours of the trip if they don't do it :) these trips start from around $70
I think they were pretty respectful when the whales were up, no boats went in front of the whales and they were pretty far from them at all times. Also, no one chased the whales and when the whales came up, no one accelerated fast and kept the engines low. I'm not saying this is perfect but there are many places in the world that you're allowed to get next to the whales to almost touch them. I believe that if, what Sri Lanka are doing, is bad for the whales then whale watching as a whole would have to be banned. What are your thoughts?
