Master Grade Monday!!: Master Grade GUNDAM ZZ Ver Ka REVIEW

What? A #mastergrademonday? Sorry it took so long to get this #gunpla #review done. Was supposed to be out the day I came down with COVID. But here we are at last looking at the Double Zeta Ver Ka! Definitely one of the most complex kits I've ever done.

about 4:50, it has been Katoki design flaw for core top. But, eventhough it was a flaw, it's actually to fixing MG ZZ 1.0 core top design.
MG ZZ 1.0 has troublesome snapping for double beam rifle when it put to core top. When you want to change in to MS again, that double beam rifle is difficult to taking off from core top due weird snapping.
So in ver ka, Katoki make it simple and didn't put any locking mechanism, just simple fit without snapping.

Man the ZZ looks cool but what a dumb dumb machine in the context of UC gundam. Like where does one start with this? They took perfectly good ideas of Zeta an said "That's great and all but what if instead of something sensible as out next inneration we just made an over-engineered mess with horrible aerodynamics, a particle gun too big for the reactors and it has to be re-assembled mid combat for every single launch with a delicate docking procedure. And if that's not bad enough we'll put a cockpit in the rifle too."
