Agreed. I mean I suppose he could be whistling, so you could certainly RP that print to be either, but my first impression on seeing it was that he was howling.

3:49 The backpack element pice number 3164 has appeared in few sets first coming out in 2013 and was originally a parachute. The first one from CMF series 10 skydiver it was lime and used as a parachute. It was used again recently in the space CMF series 26 on the alien tourist as a backpack in dark azure. The backpack has also appeared in red in 2 sets Ski and Climb Center 60366 and Passenger Airplane 60367. Finally it appeared in black on the spy from CMF series 16.
to be fair, i'd say i am rather disappointed with recent releases. Ever since series 24 the quality of the plastic itself seems to have changed for the worse and the figure designs are often too basic and simple for a collectable minifigure. They have also become more costume-y which i dislike, however that is a personal preference and yet the point is to have at least one figure to appeal to you. The price is... okay, i suppose in western countries 5 dollars are more affordable?
@deerinheadlights7179 Can't really say much about the quality as I'm fairly new to the hobby, but I do like their designs recently. As for the price, I don't know where you are from, but they are 4 euros here in the Netherlands (4,12 US dollars as we speak) and 4 euros is laughably cheap compared to other goods. For example, 4 euros doesn't buy you a coffee anymore in most places.
Yes, same piece, but new colour as far as I can tell. Bricklink says it appears in 12 sets/10 minifigs, and four colours. I knew I'd seen it before - pretty sure it was in lime green on the S10 skydiver you mention. Edit: Ack! It's even on S26 Space Tourist from earlier this year, in dark azure... Shame on me for not remembering - I built that guy not long ago...
It's not just you. It's awfully impressive. My ownly wish is that we could get the helm with different numbers (and perhaps colors). Perhaps someday...
My favourites is the Wolfpack minifigure, the steampunk-minifigure, and the little hamster-cosplay-minifigure, and i'll give a notable mention of the jet-pack racer minifigure as well as all the new lego pieces that were introduced in this minifigure series
The two pieces that you say you have not seen before, yes you have seen them, only in other colors. The first is used as a parachute backpack in many aerial sets, and the other is used as a plant part.
I've already pre-ordered two complete sets, and I have intention over the coming months to visit my local retailers to get another half-dozen or so of the Wolfpack Beastmaster, and maybe a 3-4th Pirate and Jetpack Racer. Thanks for the video, it was great to see the figs in such detail.
The top of my list is the steampunk guy (especially with Tudor square coming out), the jet pack racer, long boarder and cat person just because of the Tudor square.
It looks a lot like a 50s hair style the way it’s tied down, it’s not just a bun but has a ton in the front to and is styled like the 50s big hair spray styles.
@@kobewan9028 Well i mean it is true that the style was popular then and now, but that doesnt change that its like the most obvious style if the female pirate wanted their hair out of the way other than braids or cutting it off
The backpack from the longboarder is not a new piece, it is from the CMF skydiver and used in many themes since. We got it again not long ago with the alien tourist in the Space CMF series. The hat is a recolor from the main protagonist of Hidden Side.
Insta-favorite has to be the pirate Queen/Quartermaster. Second goes to the Pterodactyl, with the wolf (just the wolf) and the Boogeyman tying for third. (Cause the Boogeyman needs some love xD)
I have been waiting for a Steampunk theme for FOREVER! The new series fig is a good start. Wolfpack guy is also great, and the cockatoo is awesome, though I agree that the hairpiece doesn't work. I'll still be getting one though... I have extra pirate hats.
Wow, the details on these are stunning. I liked the Wolfpack Beastmaster just as an idea, but the prints are GLORIOUS and the Wolf is even better than I expected. All the other new animals are cute as well, and the fancy accessories they added. I think I can use that space man helmet on one of the older Space Police 1 CMFs. Wish we had the same helmet with different numbers (not sure why 3 though? ) And the diversity prosthetic hand is going straight on one of my city space minifgs.
These look awesome. Super keen for the clever folk who make the QR code so we can find exactly what we want. May need a few of the wolf ones to make, and multiple of some of the others. The backpack has been used in lego Friends and City as has the prosthetic arm. The nearly all the accessories/animals are new. Very exciting!
The backpack is a preexisting piece. I don’t know what sets it’s come in, but I remember seeing it recently in red and light blue while putting together an online pick a brick order.
Love these - this is such a great collection! (The skateboarder looks like it could be a lil icon for Wang Yibo - he's known in his sports wearing neon green and registered his own skateboard company last year.)
I think all the mini-figures with animal companions will be quite popular, and likely the Wolf pack guy being the most popular due to being very relevant for Lego castle fans. I will certainly try to find at least a few of those. I fear that scalpers will hunt them down as well, though.
I like the jetpack guy and the pirate the most, but agree that most figures seem really well made and diverse. I usually buy 7 random boxes each series and see what I get. No scanning for me. It´s more interesting if it´s a surprise I think.
The jetpack racer is definitely my favorite I like the pirate quartermaster, especially for the new cockatiel The steampunk inventor and the wolfpack beastmaster are great The plush collector is great for the plushies Amazing series I hope the new molds make it to other themes

Hamster is holding a cucumber slice.
That's what I figured, cucumber or a lime. Or just some sort of candy.

Hamsters love cucumber so I'm 99 % sure it's that

Lego always goes all-out for the collectable minifigures only for them to be $5 and I’m here for it!

When I first saw leaks of this I wasnt impressed, but the number of new animals, moulds and prints convinced me that this series is really cool!
I think the longboarder’s backpack is the same piece as the parachute on the skydiver from series 10 but I could be wrong.
Youre probably right, I'm just bad at keeping up with minifigures these days!

I think the point of the steampunk guy is that he has a steampunk prosthetic arm, or at least a steampunk gauntlet.
Yeah you’re right, the printing on his torso has a brace thing to hold it on his shoulder. Plus the arm itself has a piston and bolts.

Way too fashionable for the era. Nothing wrong with the hair or the bandana, but the way it's done is indeed very modern.
