We love you three and the grill info was spot on. Love how small and compact it gets. But Pistol howling at the ambulance took the show! 😂😂👍. She is precious. Good luck with Cedar Key fishing. BTW fishing is getting good in NC 👍😂
You make us so hungry every time you cook something yummy! Enjoy Kayak fishing in CK! Pistol is such a cutie..love that dog! Be safe in your travels... until we meet..down the road!! 💖 (I'm Melanie C's husband) Sending love from Georgia.
Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend you take a Gator Farm tour. You will learn so much about gators and the rules and regulations raising vs catching, and the marketing of selling gator skin (boots, purses, etc). It is all very interesting. I enjoyed today’s video.
To tenderize big chunks of alligator or any tough cuts of meat, you may want to put it in the Instapot for just a short time, then dip in marinade again and grill to finish.
So funny... You began with Dave getting ready to fry the gator nuggets and the sirens started blaring. I thought you intentionally added that sound effect as some kind of omen! Glad it worked out okay! My wife is going to go crazy when she sees Pistol howling. Take care you three! :)
I have heard both. I guess anyone can call themselves what they want. Like all the hamburger places we’ve seen around the country that sell the best burger in the country😂🤷♂️
I’ve been carving a lot lately with their axe and two hook knives they made. Hard not to think about all the people at Fadir forge. Been getting occasional updates from another carver who knows them well. Last I heard they are all alive but the stories from them are crazy.
“Now he can never be away from me”, that was hilarious! I’m still smiling. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I may even try gator meat some day! Safe travels.
I wonder how a honey based marinade would work? I’ve had frog legs a few times, they’re a little too gamey for my liking, but definitely worth a try. Also, 10:52 I love when Pistol helped the fire trucks 😂
I think they would work well. And it’s funny because she will only howl if it’s a fire truck. Every time with them. Never with police or ambulance 🤷♂️😁
YUMM I would have bought ALL THE MUSHROOMS! lol Dave measures like I do ;-) Really like that grill and the compact nature of it. You two truly are soul mates my friends...🥰
My wife said after she saw the finished alligator she said it looks like chicken nuggets and it probably tastes like chicken. And I had a thought alligator flavored scones would be a great afternoon treat with your favorite beverage.
Whoa, looks like I’m a few videos behind lol! I’ve had Gator with a Tahini/Miso Sauce, Tzatziki Sauce, Vietnamese Peanut Sauce, Pico de Gallo Sauce, and a Garlic/Cracked Black Pepper Aioli Sauce! The sauce I didn’t care for was a Thousand Island kinda tasting concoction that this chef had in a Ft Lauderdale restaurant back in the late 80’s! I’ve had Frog Legs before, but in a very spicy Cajun Sauce (and no, they didn’t remind me of Chicken lol), but Gator doesn’t taste like Frog to me either - must’ve been the bitter IPA I was drinking with it 🧐 I really like that grill you guys used 👍🏼👏🏼 #CareyOn🐶
Love the product review vids. Looking forward to your chair review. Wuick question... approx how many briquettes do you use in your mini grill and what do you use as a starter?
I’m guessing at a couple dozen. Sometimes I’ve just used match light briquettes (not my favorite) and sometimes I use the little fire starter cubes you can buy in the bbq section if lowes or home depot.
after living in Fla for almost 9 years i had a chance to eat Gator many different ways,,Ive had ribs and just about the whole gator, but the one I could stomache was the flattend and fried nuggets..Is funny that if your neighbor had a Gator fry,, well it was in his yard ! And it made to the fryer or smoker and smoked tail was noy bad ! all i can say had to be flattend for me ,,,Bon Appetit and beat that Gator lol
Trying the grilled alligator he said, I’m not going to try it you try it. I’m not going to try it. I say, Let’s get Mikey, he’ll try anything. Hey Mikey! Remember that commercial? lol
Hi guys! Very strange to eat gator meat, but it looked delicious. Wondering what's next? Bold eagle, armadillos, rattlesnake? Anyway, thanks for the video. After all, it's the highlight of the week.
Before we started traveling Dave did quite a few races both running and biking, many were charity races. Since this nomadic life where we rarely plan he hasn’t. Need to change that;)
pistol the fire doggie,, she wanted some of that there deep fat fried Gator she kept looking at you all thinking if only i could have some of that there Gator it would be a good day ! G A T O R rrrr ! :)

Pistol howling at the sirens was hilarious!😘
Only fire trucks have her tone. Police and ambulance sirens don’t get anything from her.🤷♂️😁
That’s even funnier! Molina is our third Boston, none of them have been howlers.😜
lol our greyhound dog howled like that at sirens too! i loved seeing it.
We love you three and the grill info was spot on. Love how small and compact it gets. But Pistol howling at the ambulance took the show! 😂😂👍. She is precious. Good luck with Cedar Key fishing. BTW fishing is getting good in NC 👍😂
Thanks guys. Pistol is definitely the star of the show:)

Thanks! We’ll have to one of these days;)
Great video guys! Spring has sprung here in Bozeman. No more winter clothing. Gator On! Oops... Carey On!
Gator On!;)
Alligator and frog legs taste the same. Kinda like chicken but has a “it came from the water or pond” after taste. Love it!
To tenderize big chunks of alligator or any tough cuts of meat, you may want to put it in the Instapot for just a short time, then dip in marinade again and grill to finish.
10:56 - i had a Husky who would do the same thing. Only difference? The walls would shake and the kids would run.
So funny... You began with Dave getting ready to fry the gator nuggets and the sirens started blaring. I thought you intentionally added that sound effect as some kind of omen! Glad it worked out okay! My wife is going to go crazy when she sees Pistol howling. Take care you three! :)
Thanks Dave:)
I’ve been at that market. Fun place.
little pricey, but looks sturdy and functional for the money! THUMBS UP!
I always thought Lexington, KY. was the horse capitol.
I have heard both. I guess anyone can call themselves what they want. Like all the hamburger places we’ve seen around the country that sell the best burger in the country😂🤷♂️
Thanks again. The call of the wild was great to hear. My thoughts lately are for the guy that made your carving axe.
I’ve been carving a lot lately with their axe and two hook knives they made. Hard not to think about all the people at Fadir forge. Been getting occasional updates from another carver who knows them well. Last I heard they are all alive but the stories from them are crazy.

Thanks:) As long as it wasn’t over cooked it was tender and juicy:)
Pistol at about 11:00, "Oowww-ooo! I iz a siren!" 😆
The call of her people😆
Next time in Florida try the smoked mullet dip..Does not get more Fla than that! Happy travels guys love your vids
We’ve had it! It is good!👍

Stop by Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon, it’s historic, beautiful and Pistol friendly! Kayaking for all of you.
We will;)
Bravo you guys are brave. It looks delicious 😋. Pistol you always quiet but not this time with the sirens. Many Blessings guys🙏🏻🥰
Thanks Carmen:)

❤️☺️
🇺🇲👍🏼😎👍🏼🇺🇲🏜🚐🌴
Glad you guys found fresh Gator meat and 🤙🏼
🙌😁
I’m from Louisiana and my favorite way is to marinate in Italian dressing overnight and then grill it.
Will have to try that. I know people who marinate fish that way. Sounds good!
My wife said after she saw the finished alligator she said it looks like chicken nuggets and it probably tastes like chicken. And I had a thought alligator flavored scones would be a great afternoon treat with your favorite beverage.
It has a chicken like texture but more like eating small deep fried fish bites. Hard to describe. It tastes just like gator;)
Whoa, looks like I’m a few videos behind lol!

LOL all the sirens and stuff I thought you were in SE Fla.
😁 They we’re actually came to where we were. Someone was injured on the trail.
Trying the grilled alligator he said, I’m not going to try it you try it. I’m not going to try it. I say, Let’s get Mikey, he’ll try anything. Hey Mikey! Remember that commercial? lol

Never had snake. Maybe we’ll try it🤷♂️😁
Love you guys. Ever do any charity 5K/10K runs? My daughter just ran a couple events at Tomoka SP 🏃♀️
Before we started traveling Dave did quite a few races both running and biking, many were charity races. Since this nomadic life where we rarely plan he hasn’t. Need to change that;)
💛💛💛
The ability to adjust the grill height appeals to me. So, what do you do with your used oil?
Just poured it back in the original container when it cooled.
pistol the fire doggie,, she wanted some of that there deep fat fried Gator she kept looking at you all thinking if only i could have some of that there Gator it would be a good day ! G A T O R rrrr ! :)
You must try frog legs. Yummy.
Like fish only worse,,deep fry for more than three minutes it is ruined, will be like chewing gum!
I guess we got lucky!😉😁
using poisonous seed oils again. Enjoy these guys while they are here
