That’s volts on the left and wire speed on the right, the amperage for MIG/Flux core is controlled on how far your stick out is, aka how far your wire sticks out from the contact tip to your work material
You don't, really. Some people do to make sure the wire at the first feed-thru doesn't catch on the inner end of the tip but I never do and never had the wire catch on the tip end.

It does come with the torch so no worries on that part! The main other things you need is the safety equipment, wire and probably a magnet
