I made this, but added to make 6-sided. I added another group of three dc in the first round, but reduced the chains to 3 chains. It worked well! You have to leave a little more space when closing the magic loop.
Thank you so much for this simple, quick tutorial. I have struggled so much to make a snowflake but now (after multiple failed attempts) I can make one. Thank you! :) ❄
So pretty. How would I made this snowflake if I used strong instead? I want to starch them so they stay nice and stiff. Any ideas how I would change the pattern? I crocheted years ago but haven't for so long, I've forgotten how to! ): Thanks.
I have made another video tutorial for the left handed crocheters, you can follow this video and I hope you love it. ua-cam.com/video/BH7BOwe8gEs/v-deo.html
Has anyone made this with six chain spaces? Just to make it a tiny bit authentic snowflake! I do love the pattern and the video is good. I just finished my first one with No. 20 crochet thread and a 1.5 hook! About an inch and a half across. Very snowflakey.

Very pretty. I believe that snowflakes are all 6 sided though. Nice tutorial, I'm right handed and could still understand. 😊
Every single snowflake is unique. No two are similar.
So lovely.probably in small make earrings.
Thank you. Yes! I have made earrings pattern, too
I was wondering why you made it with 5 points?
Thank you.😊

So fun Thank You !
Took more than 5 min. since you’re doing it left handed. Took awhile for me to superimpose the visual.

Eeeekk, I find it difficult to follow your left handed tutorial, only because you're going back wards. 😬 beauty snowflakes.
