The drink shelves are 'self serve' and for a liquor store .. it will be fine as long as you have some shopping baskets so customers can shop in the drink shelves. Without shopping baskets I don't think you can sell drinks from those wooden drinks shelves. The cocktail bars (one each for whisky, margaritas and martinis) are for nightclubs and drink shelves are for liquor stores.
I set up in Hells Kitchen first up, and it was 'set in stone' when the flatiron building went up for rent (now my HQ). I had been sitting waiting for the apartment across the street (2 broadway) to go up for rent for 35 days. But the wait was worth it. I have a half-block long apartment building right across the street from my HQ, next to the park, and I rent all the retail space behind the apartment already for retail outlets (one being my flag-ship supermarket). The street in front seems to always have numerous parking spaces available. Its just a shame it isn't the largest apartment size.
So, you get one business per neighborhood and the rivals will just warn you.. so make that one count 😊 And no one cares about Lower Manhattan as far as rivals goes. So you can attack Ingrid in Garment District and also go all in for Lower Manhattan.

your expensive jewelery issue is that if you don't have at least as much inventory as your display cases will hold, it warns you that you're out - so when you checked and it said "i have 15" it's probably that you have room on your floor for 16 or 24 or 32 and the shelves out in the store aren't full
I know the basics of the game. ;) that’s not entirely correct. I have 15 in one case (I can still sell them), but one case is out. The message is for a single case. I’m still able to sell the product. The stocking issue has nothing to do with my warehouse/truck logistics.
I've had this game on my wishlist for a while, but I keep going back and forth as to whether i should get it. This series on particular is the reason I'm getting it Friday. Great series!
Maybe you should think about putting the small dance floor spaces around (very close) to the stand up tables? Then they would be moving around the tables instead of the middle of the floor.
I would just take dance floor tiles, and make them into the pathways between the tables.. then they'd be 2 to 3 wide, and long strips.. That should cover the dance floor quandary :D
50:20 A jewelry showcase can hold 50 inventory, your 15 inventory is being placed on one showcase while the other is empty. If you increase inventory to 51-100 expensive jewelry it shouldn't happen.
@@CharliePryor Yeah, if you set it to 150 and its not delivered in full you're short on storage space at the store. I had this issue when first setting up my 75 capacity electronics store because I was too poor to fully stock 48 display tables lol.
Basically, the nightclub only works well from 2100 to 0300 and it works best Friday Saturday and Sunday. It peroms horribly on Tuesday and Wednesday.. I don't think you can get any kind of decent performance during the non weekend daytime hours.
Instead of the shelves that need 3 each for drinks, why not get 1 more coctail bar and have one for each whiskey, martini and margarita and get rid of the shelves altogether
