I actually really liked that HyperReal line. I have both of the figures and was kind of wishing that they would do a Boba Fett from Empire to add to the collection.
I'm surprised Kenner or Hasbro never offered sets like the Wampa cave, Sarlac Pitt or Bespin carbon freeze chamber. You would think after decades of producing toys for Star Wars that this would have happened by now.
I work at a dollar tree (when everything was $1 or less) and remember the store getting 6 cases of the helmets. I bought 3 cases, kept one of each for myself(minus the first order stormtrooper & poe's helmet). Gave some as gifts to friends. Did some trading for the others. I also picked up the darth vader centerpiece at Ross for around $10 (I kept that).
I liked the mini helmet line and the resurrected Titanium diecast vehicles. The Hyperreal figures were marred by very poor articulation and they began to rot and split on the joints especially.
I have 4 of the mini helmets and they are really good quality. The Vader helmet is in the Rebels style so it's unique and the Sabine helmet is spot on.
Wished I had bought the Mando speeder. Prices are crazy now. AFAIK, they have not done a regular Mando biker scout in galaxy packaging. I don't count the carbonized one.
I actually really wish the mystery box would return. I think including a repack of a figure except with a cape was a horrible choice. If it was a different knight of ren it would’ve been awesome. But I wish it would return and each one would be randomized between 3-5 different possible figures
They all came and went before I started collecting. I've been thinking about how it would have been cool to get a snow speeder, a speeder bike, and an X-wing in 1/12 scale! That sucks that I missed that snow speeder. I wonder if a relaunch would do better now, since G. I. Joe Classified vehicles are coming out. But, I guess I don't really know well they're selling. So, that could be informing Hasbro on whether to bother or, not.
The Snow Speeder vehicle is sick! It lacks weathering but otherwise I love it - the 2 speeder bikes are also awesome even though it's the same bike with different paint. Still cheaper than lego and lego sucks
Man, that first vehicle line could've survived if they varied it up a bit. Maul's Scimitar, Vader's TIE Advanced, Dooku's Solar Sailor, Slave I, Anakin and Obi Wan's Jedi Fighters, even The Twilight for the former, so many cool options and instead it was a lot of boring stuff.
Such a shame the Hyperreal line failed. As you said Lukeness, they should've moulded the flesh in rubber and given Luke cloth clothing. His boots could've still been rubber.
I have the hyper real Darth Vader and while articulation is great, the rubber they used is like the sticky gross kind, it also breaks and tears easily so I don’t mess with it, I imagine they used the same rubber for luke which probably made the figure worse
They had some crazy dumb ideas and then some really good ideas they didn't deliver on, that's too bad. I wish they would sell more of the base/centerpiece sets, such potential there.
Number 1 is the killer because the vehicles/creatures were two big and costly. However, I'm glad I have both Luke and Rey's Speeders, and Enfy's Nest Swoop Bike. First Order Tie Fighter was way to costly. I missed on the Biker Scout and Speeder Bike and Luke's Snowspeeder. I do have the Target Black Stormtrooper and Biker Scout w/Speeder. I have Luke, Leia and Han in titanium series. I want those Hyperreal figures. I didn't care about the BS 3' 3/4" figures. I like the TVC better. I should have bought the Centerpiece figures.
I have the hyper real Luke and Vader, they are great but not worth the money,if Hasbro had just given bespin Luke a fabric outfit over the rubber skin body i think the hyper real thing could have been successful.
If the centrepiece line had a figure instead of a non posable figure than it would have been awful You get so much more detail this way. Just look at any iron studios statue The 8" figures were DEFINITELY not trying to copy hot toys 🤣 if anything phicen
With the vehicle line, tbh the TIE for me was more of a problem of space than anything. I think the landspeeder and Rey’s speeder would have been great vehicle for a wave 3 but shouldn’t have been the first vehicles out. Had the snow speeder been first, the line would have done much better. The titanium ships were cool but limited, the helmets didn’t interest me, and the statues I agree didn’t understand why they were made. The hyper real was an interesting design but I think they needed to show confidence, like I feel like they announced it knowing it would fail for some reason. Could have been great if it had more initial figures and more confidence. The 3.75 inch line was pretty cool but being exclusive limited the line but luckily it was replaced. The centerpiece line I think was just limited from the start, as there aren’t too many scenes for them to recreate that the fans would want. Real figures would have been great too. A board game? Hahahahahaha I got that mystery box, was it a part of a line? I thought it was the Force Friday exclusive thing that went away since so did Force Friday
I wish the vehicle line would return. Skip the ships, stick to small things like speeders. Darth Maul and his Bloodfin Mando and his speeder Clone and BARC speeder B1 and STAP Baylon and a howler Anakin (AOTC) and a speeder bike Clone and AT-RT Deathwatch and Balutar-class swoop Cobb Vanth and speeder Hell BoBF Boba Fett (+ tuskins) and speeder But tbh anything larger than the scale of a speeder just doesn’t have the promise of lasting/ supporting the vehicle line
I still Loathe the Titanium series to this day. These awful toys sat on pegs for years and only left toys`r`us when the store closed. Even then i still saw those damn helmets for sale at the Five Below right across the street. Good riddance to that line! The black series should be a 6 inch figure and vehicle line. No more, No Less.
Hasbro needs to make figures like they did with TVC Imagine Commander Colt ARC Blitz ARC Havoc Commander Grey Howzer All with removable helmets as well Not to mention many others Battlefront 2 arc troopers continued Other bad batch clones Other clone wars clones So much unlimited potential… they could do AN ENTIRE sub series of just clone wars and clone figures and I would buy everything
I think a common denominator from most if not all these failed lines has to be the lack of Prequel/Clone Wars era characters. Most of these came out when Disney Lucasfilm were going hard on trying to distance themselves from the Prequels to appease the loud internet Fandom. Along with trying to go all in with the Sequels.

Carbonite figures
@@arturvitor9705I was going to say those too!
Those are trash
I just want a Darth Sidious in that line, to execute order 66
I actually really liked that HyperReal line. I have both of the figures and was kind of wishing that they would do a Boba Fett from Empire to add to the collection.
Would have like the Hyperreal technology to be used to make the Haslab Rancor!
That would be terrible as the figures “skin” would rot away quickly.
$80 for a hyper real figure seemed like a great price. Shame it failed
If they just scaled it to work with Black Series it probably would have worked.
The center piece stuff is amazing I wish they would continue the line I am a sucker for dioramas and light up effects.
If they wouldve made cody and rex two pack of the mini helmets i wouldve bought them twice lol
The board game is crazy!
It really is!
I'm surprised Kenner or Hasbro never offered sets like the Wampa cave, Sarlac Pitt or Bespin carbon freeze chamber. You would think after decades of producing toys for Star Wars that this would have happened by now.
They do have a 3.75 bespin freeze chamber...I'm pretty sure
Next up: Holocon, Credit Collection and Carbonized 🤞
The hyperreal line could’ve been great, like imagine how great a hyperreal Din Djarin would be
Great video. A fun look at the past and I didn’t even know about the board game 😂
"Somehow, Palpatine has returned"😂

I liked the mini helmet line and the resurrected Titanium diecast vehicles. The Hyperreal figures were marred by very poor articulation and they began to rot and split on the joints especially.
I really liked the vehicle line. Got all of them except for the TIE (haven't started collecting yet at that point)
I have 4 of the mini helmets and they are really good quality. The Vader helmet is in the Rebels style so it's unique and the Sabine helmet is spot on.
I'm sad the titanium series is gone. I've been collecting many, including the ones released during the prequels
I have the FO TIE and the Snowspeeder and I love them. I also have both of the HyperReal figures and wish they would do more of them.
This was cool, really enjoy vids like this! I had no idea half of these even existed. Poor rancor… 😅

Well hold on do Speeder Bikes not count? Cause we got a mando branded one during mando mondays
Great video! This was super interesting
If I'm being honest, I don't see with the statues since they already have action figure counter parts
Would the credit collection count?
Love the vehicles and centre pieces

They need to bring hyper real back. I thought there was great potential there, and less expensive than hot toys.
Those prices were absolutely ridiculous for hasbro of all companies.
I still dont know why the helmets and lightsabers are also under the banner Black Series.
They had some crazy dumb ideas and then some really good ideas they didn't deliver on, that's too bad. I wish they would sell more of the base/centerpiece sets, such potential there.

If Hasbro made statues like mcfarlane for 40$ bucks people would but them but they have to always charge a premium to make it sound fancy. Lol.
i thought the board game was a fcrack induced mandela effect but it its real
Speeder bike and stormtrooper black series too
I got to say, the script in this is exeptional. Great job lukeness!!! 🎉

Definitely the vehicle line! I’ll take any vehicle we can get

Never knew they resurrected Titanium for the Black Series. That was a pretty big line for Hasbro in the mid 2000s.
