Animation is amazing; it got me all in my feels seeing a depiction in how it was/could have been with macaque and his version of jttw in lmk, from the beginning to end it was nice to see how much they’ve both grown 🥲😚
amazing!! absolutely love the mixture of journey and monkie kid scenes. as especially love your depiction of wukong attempting to escape the buddha and five elements mountain, he looks so terrified sprinting from one end of the hand to the other!! also macaque's jealously slowly growing. the scene where he hugged macaque in front of the pilgrims was FASCINATING, there's so much history here
So many people have said before me how amazing and interesting it is, how much emotion it evokes and how the story progresses... but I'll say it too! It's awesome, interesting and great guesses on how it could have happened! I especially like that Makak didn't attack right away, but was in their group for a while and then couldn't stand the bad treatment of his friend~ 2:24 top unexpected twists
