It's funny how people talk badly about Shein being unethical when the vast majority of clothing stores like Amazon, Walmart, Target are also unethical and steal a lot more designs.
um you can talk badly about all of them at the same time? those other stores being bad isn't an excuse or a reason for shein to also be fucking terrible. and as this is a shein video, it is appropriate to talk specially about how awful shein is for the environment, towards their garment makers, and to independent artists.

Shein has like 10x the net worth of any other fast fashion house. They produce thousands of styles everyday and sell products for like 50% of the cost. There are levels to fast fashion and shein is the absolute worst of the worst. Shopping literally anywhere else is better for the environment than shein.

It is not true, even the places where clothes cost more are still fast fashion, the only difference is that Shein costs less. You cannot say that you have a problem with Shein and not with other companies that do exactly the same thing.

I’m disappointed that fei works with a brand that is clearly not organised and stealing ideas from other brands, supports fast fashion by producing cheap clothes and unsustainable materials, and has poor production and quality.
I don’t see how unique their design is. All the pieces she shows in the video are so common, that we can easily find them anywhere else with better quality and ethical production.

Do what you gotta do, babe. Sustainability is a privilege. Ethical fashion is a privilege. And if you don’t have that privilege, don’t let tone deaf bandwagoners guilt you into going hungry. If you need to shop at Goodwill or Shein, gohead.
And to anyone who has a problem with it: FYI Ethical sustainable consumerism is for people who have their basic needs met, who don’t live paycheck to paycheck. If that bothers you, take it up with companies and government.

Nobody is saying that part. Lower class people are fine to shop from cheap places. The problem is that when influencers and richer people promote it and shop from there. Not to mention those richer people who find it fun and aesthetic to shop from cheaper places, make the prices go up. Like thrift store prices went up a good bit.

We are all contributing to pollution in the world, you using the internet to watch this video, sending/receiving emails, taking a shower and using hygiene products. It all contributes to destroying our planet. So while it’s great that you care about sustainability and protecting the planet you (like most of us) aren’t really helping by posting a comment. As UA-cam is one of the biggest contributors for online carbon emissions which in turn translates to a carbon footprint which then effects the worlds climate.
It’s a shame but there’s no stopping the downward spiral we’ve entered, as the world “upgrades”.

How's Shein after washed? I want to buy it but I read so many complaints about this brand product after washed. Some said it shrank, some said it torn etc.
I’ve got a few pieces from shein that have held up fine after washing. I wash them all in cold water and air dry them, for more delicate pieces, it’s probably better to hand wash. I don’t understand how some people end up destroying their clothes after a single wash. For the shrinking problem, wash your clothes in cold water and don’t put them in the dryer. Shein clothes will last you, IF you take care of them.
Jumpsuits, shirts, skirts, crop tops, turtlenecks, all lovely. DO NOT GET PANTS. Elastic threads and tearing everywhere after one wash and those were the most expensive things I've bought from them
