- Semeon Alexandrovich Tchernetsky - March "G.T.O." ("Ready for Labour and Defence of USSR") 1933 year, orchestration by Daniil Braslavsky. This march is the potpourri of popular Red Army songs from Russian Civil War of 1917-1922:
1) "Budyonny march"/"We are the Red Cavalry", music by Brothers Pokrass;
2) "Through valleys and over hills", Unknown composer;
3) "Comrades, let's bravely march", music by Leonid Radin[?];
4) "Warszawianka"/"The Song of Warsaw", Unknown composer;
5) "Red Army is the Strongest"/"White Army, Black Baron", music by Samuil Pokrass;

Generations of Vietnamese soldiers marched to battle follow soviet melodies, sacrificed themself like Red army soldiers did outside Moscow, Stalingard, Kursk and earned the rightful Victory like Russian brother did. Without help both material and spiritual from Soviet Union, we can't have our freedom and happiness today, thank you Russia, we'll never forget, we'll forever be brothers, Long Live Vietnam - Russia brotherhood.

Well, as I see the facts you would be anyway and independent country anyway when french army went out Vietnam. The second part of the story, namely communism advenement, has nothing to do with freedom of your country, as today is independent, but not free, as Communism is just the opposite to freedom of people.

wizard I think the Russia of today is still able to comfortably recognize their Communist "episode" as part of their history , especially the red army and great patriotic war , this is in big contrast to the Bolsheviks who tried to erase their history prior to the revolution . as you may know they even changed the last part of the 1812 overture , removing the Imperial anthem , cultural vandalism .

Russians try to erase anti Russian original Bolshevism; people need to understand that Russians eliminated (killed) and overthrew the Bolshevics in the 1930s... That's why there existed at least 3(roughly said) Soviet Unions...
