A lot of Lets Players do test games before their video so they can learn the controls and show the game seamlessly from the get-go. But I absolutely love that you show us fumbling a bit trying to find the "set vehicle on ground" button and how to accelerate. It feels like a much more honest experience and I really enjoy it.
Love it when people pick up besiege for the first time. It’s probably my favourite sandbox game of all time. Some hints if you decide to play the game some more: - the wrench at the top allows you to customize blocks, from their power and speed, to the keys used to control them, or block specific special functions. - you can press F on most mechanical blocks and propellers to flip their orientation or direction. - the cog in the top right opens the menu, that’s where you enable advanced building - braces will be your best friend for reinforcement - deformable surfaces are only really usefull for visual stuff.
after hearing you call me an engineer for years, I am finally becoming an electrical engineer lol. Probably going to specialize in controls systems or electronic design
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming well it was a hyperbole but it feels that long. With no major events happening in my life I had no mental landmarks as a basis for a timeline, so the months blended together to feel like a major portion of my life has slipped by. Idk if that makes sense but yeah.

There are nodes in the center on the edges of the custom shape panels. Use the translate tool and select the node. You can then move each node independently and shape them however you want. Including curves.
@Real Civil Engineer The easiest way to do a vehicle that you can steer is to make the left wheels and the right wheels accelerate independently, like a battle tank.
I bought the game 4 days ago and my best tip is to try out everything, make drones, planes, cars, everything. Try every setting and get an understanding for the mechanics. Good luck
remembering Besiege... they should have turned off all the extra features for the first time you do those first level (leaving just what used to be in the beginning) - not only is it too easy, it is also too overwhelming and confusing. - They should also make it clearer you can remap keys while controlling the vehicles...
NO WAY!!! I have been playing this game for yeARS! thankyou for bringing some light to this wonderful game! also ;) kachow im using GX browser already ;)

13:37 NO, NO, NO! Only an architect would peel the stickers off a Rubik's Cube. The engineer's cheat is to turn a face 45 degrees and snap an edge piece out. Then you can dismantle the entire cube and put it back together solved _without_ ruining the stickers.
Veeery Nice game. I tried to build giant legs and with wasd it could move! And jump! Aaand fall over... :D and 2fps but these 300 h were worth it! This was back in beta i should try it again
There’s no weight on the back wheels. So the force against the front wheels just carries the whole vehicle. It’s hard to know sometimes in these games what has been accounted for and what hasn’t.

Just an idea. Instead of using noob, pro and engineer for the thumbnail. Use architect instead of noob.

@J M Definitely an architect here who accidentally designed a stick up his ass.
That was such a tease! You have to show how it performs!
Fr, he teased even more than a stripper.
Didnt he upload another besiege Video before where he used exactly this "car"

I literally looked up "engineer plays besiege" on youtube yesterday and now this amazing video is out! Good timing, and good video as well.
Since I’m going into civil engineering and architecture, I would much like the CAD stream
YEEES! FINALLY! My first suggestion after subscribing about a year ago was "Besiege".
Its fun seeing you grow! I was here when you were about 50k subs
God you mention CAD and it takes me back to engineering from year 9-11 two hours every week of just that and it was hell
I love how at 3:30 he kills the chickens and then became one with his laugh hahaha
You made a great Wanger Wagon!

You can set your own controlls for every mechanical part u add.
Also think a bit like an engineer when it comes to steering. Just invert 2 wheels.
Invert the controll keys indeed
WE NEED MORE BESIEGE LAD
FYI differential steering is generally much easier to build and control... So think of a tank as opposed to a car. You should give that a try.
