Can you all imagine, the world devoided of these amazing episodes, had it not been for one of the cast asking for the tapes, which were about to be re-used by BBC? Some were lost, mind you.
Bill, I am very impressed that someone with your skill and experience still has the modesty of publicly admitting "here's a lock I can't pick yet". The honesty on your channel is refreshing.
In martial arts we say a true master thinks like a beginner and has no ego over his losses because its just another opportunity to learn! cheers brother!
Bill, I'm here after LPL's video announcing your retirement. So First, congrats on your very long and accomplished career, most content creators can't say they enjoyed 14 years of it, but you endured and improved more and more. Second, thanks for all the videos, this channel is now a collection of prime knowledge on the lock picking art. Third, nothing, just go on to enjoy your hard earned rest. Best, A fan
I know this is a year too late, but I just found out you retired. I want to thank you. Pretty much everything I know about locksmithing I learned from you. You were originally the one that got me inspired. And now I am locksmith. I wish you a happy retirement and I pray that you have a healthy and healthy life.
Neat, love me some sparrows. Been using the revolver since I saw your video. Can't count how many times I have re keyed it. Thanks for the good work you do bill. Stay healthy!
That’s about the best way to make picking more accessible for the beginner and a great way to leave a few picks and tension wrenches out to spark a conversation!!
No he’s not able to pic his own lock, not the training lock it comes with. But still is a great trainer or like he said a lock u can’t open or time to vise up ur naughty lock!
I recently developed interest in lockpicking. It's a very exciting hobby. It's like solving puzzles. Bill is my #1 favorite. He is not only very talented but very humble, too.
I don't comment on your videos all that often, usually because I'm binge watching. That being said, please keep doing what you're doing with keeping us encouraged and informed.
Great video, thanks. Having just started my lock picking journey, I’m always in awe that you can pick up a lock and within a minute have it open. Practice, practice!
Thanks for all your giveaways BosnianBill! Makes the channel a little exciting and we get to see new stuff all the time. I've picked my first 5 locks, including one on my inner garage door and your channel has been very helpful.
Perfect way to have your most difficult lock sitting on your desk all day. Staring at you. Mocking you. Calling you a lock picking loser... I digress. Very nice item. Would love to have one.
I've just recently got into lock picking as a hobby. It's thanks you Bosnianbill and the lockpickinglawyer. I decided to go with sparrows lock picks and so far, I've had a lot of luck with them. I got the revolver as a training lock and love it. I've not been picking long enough to have any trophy locks but I'm looking to expand into other types of locks and not just master locks lol. I think this would work great for a specific type of lock instead of 4 different types that the revolver does. I really enjoy your videos and would love to win one of these!!
If you haven't come across it yet, Sparrows makes a product called the Revolver which contains four progressively harder practice locks. Excellent for practicing, maybe not quite as good as these for hurling across the room in frustration.
Those are pretty cool! Thanks for inspiring the locksport community Bill. I started watching your videos many years ago, and I’m now a locksmith because of you!! Great career!!
Thanks for reviewing this Bill. I almost pulled the trigger on the preorder but was a little hesitant as to what it would be since Sparrows mentioned how heavy it was in the description. Guess I’ll be paying full price now.
They still have to make a rubber ball variant if you want to throw the lock into the corner after x tries in frustration.
heavy metal is nice so it can break through the drywall and get stuck inside the wall :)
Haha that is great, or an outer coating of stress ball material👍🇦🇺😊
@@TheButchersbLock a stress ball around this would be awesome! I wonder if it would hinder feedback on the tensioner though.
🙌🏻
The multipick bell puller is great for broken locks that won't pick open! "Vengeance is mine" lol
He definitely had too much fun saying "Gaint steel balls" and "In these soft velvet ballsack" xD
After he said that I went and checked what date he posted the video to make sure it wasn't April 1st.
When I started playing this video, my wife in another room asked me what I was watching and had a hard time believing it was a lockpicking video
«Yes, darling - I am playing with my velvet wrapped balls... - one is a training kit & the other an advanced version» - said the lock picker to their partner
don't forget they're comfortable to hold and just the right size
I get a serious "Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch" vibe from these.
"Brother Maynard, bring me the holy hand grenade!"
That was my first thought , need a curifix key for it

Pin four is binding..... pin three sir.... THREE.... and we got it open.

In martial arts we say a true master thinks like a beginner and has no ego over his losses because its just another opportunity to learn! cheers brother!
Seems like this would have been a perfect April first video
”This is lockpicking lawyer and today we are picking open bills balls...”
A week earlier and it would've paired great with LockPickingLawyer's annual tradition
I saw these and the first thing I thought of was The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!
Love that movie!
Talking about steel balls and a soft velvet ballsack... April fool's day was one week ago, Bill :'D
Tell that to Sparrows xd

It looks like a cross between an old fashioned diving helmet and a underwater mine. Cool item to have 👍🦊

A little amusing that “here’s a lock I haven’t been able to pick. Lets give it to someone else so they can enjoy the pain” :)
A variant of asking someone to «scratch my [lock picking] balls...»?
Bill,
Thank you for all your videos and lessons you gave us.
I want to wish you a happy retirement.
You are one of the greats!
I had to check the release date to make sure it wasn't an April fools video given that start.
Makes it look so easy no matter what... Because of you though i am now a licensed locksmith so thank you Bill!
The balls in the fuzzy sacks got me chuckling. Love it.
What a great way to display and hold your locks! The craftmanship on these is superior.
He just brushed over how wicked that scorpion key looks.
Neat, love me some sparrows. Been using the revolver since I saw your video. Can't count how many times I have re keyed it. Thanks for the good work you do bill. Stay healthy!
"Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less."
_Five is _*_right out!_*
One... Two... Five...
not 2, unless then proceeding to three.
Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.
That’s about the best way to make picking more accessible for the beginner and a great way to leave a few picks and tension wrenches out to spark a conversation!!
I’m just a beginner in the picking world but I always knew BosnianBill has the biggest steel balls
If you had only left out the word "steel", the comment would've been much more funny. 😜
Gotta love sparrows and their ideas, Thank you Bill for sharing and great idea of use of them as well.
Giving away that ASSA almost sounds like more of a curse than a gift!
That is an awesome lock holder for the bench and a good way to keep the lock within reach. Great job Sparrows.
I've been out of the game for a while now, but if Bill hasn't been able to pick that, then I'm interested!
No he’s not able to pic his own lock, not the training lock it comes with. But still is a great trainer or like he said a lock u can’t open or time to vise up ur naughty lock!
@@SadisticPicker he said he's including that lock in the giveaway, didn't he?
@@ZedWrench That's what I heard. It just seems strange to me.
@@peterkelley6344 Bill said that he has 6 of those, keyed the same.

Sparrows inventing stuff we didn't know we wanted yet again...
I saw the thumbnail and thought that was a great way to hold a lock for practicing on. Sparrows did not disappoint.
And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin.'
Great video, thanks. Having just started my lock picking journey, I’m always in awe that you can pick up a lock and within a minute have it open. Practice, practice!
I can see how my girlfriend will yell with me "Don't play that much with your balls!"
I love the straight faced innuendos he makes.
I thought this was going to be a belated April Fool's joke. Something about balls of steel.
'Scuse me mate, could you keep off the grass XD

Lock tools you didn't know you needed until Sparrows invented it.
That's a genius way to not only showcase locks but you can also take them on the go with you and you'll have a wonderful holder for them.
No matter how old you get, guys still make “balls” jokes.
Paired nicely with farts still being hilarious.
@@Pickleriiiiiick Farts are always funny.
Yet another great product from Sparrows well reviewed - thanks for your efforts Bill.
Good looking kit from Sparrows again
Thanks for sharing
Good luck to everybody, and thanks, Bill, for your videos! They've gotten me started in this new hobby
I never knew I needed this. Perfect for a small apartment without much space for the hobby.
Nice concept... I love the look of it!!!
That is so cool! I can see how it would make picking a mortise cylinder easier trying to hold it in your hand.
Sparrows always has something new and exciting that makes you keep coming back for another look at their site.

After not tuning in for a while, I'm really glad to be coming back and catching up on the channel
That is a product that is needed and yet so unneeded at the same time. Kinda need it now.
Thanks for sharing Bill. Great to see Mystery Marketing still works and good for Sparrows to keep innovating on this stuff.
These seem like very good holders for picking and also nice looking trophy stands with a very Sparrows-esque style.
Very cool. Great idea for better control while you're picking. Looks sharp too.
Hey, Bill. Thanks for the great content. I stumbled across your videos a year ago and you have taught me so much. Thanks!
I like the idea of having a lock loaded and ready to fidget with, and it looks cool to boot!
Good looking product. Sparrows never products never disappoint.
Happy retirement Bill. So happy you found another obsession. Your family
Awesome, always love sparrows! I have a few of their training accessories and they are always beautifully crafted.

That seems like a really neat thing to practice picking on mortise cylinders, especially for on the go or to be able to put in a bag or something.
I like that lock holder... that design is definitely the thing!!!
Great balls of Sparrows! Seems like a handy practice method.
Bill, that’s a great training kit. Thanks for showing it.
How cool of an idea, a show piece that is also practical and useful. Count me in.
Fantastic video as always, as a new picker you are one of the channels I use to teach myself the "art"!
Leaving the locker room banter aside, having a couple of hard steel balls to keep around for random fits of picking is absolutely a brilliant concept.
If you haven't come across it yet, Sparrows makes a product called the Revolver which contains four progressively harder practice locks.

Great video Bill, very cool design. Thanks for all your time and effort to make these videos.

Another awesome sparrows product. And great giveaway offer from Bill! Thank you!
Those are awesome. And the high security locks are very tempting.

Great idea! Gotta love Sparrows... Thanks for another great video!
This is such a great idea, sometimes I myself get discouraged, because I dont want to pull out vise, put the lock in and so on. This is really handy.
