1968 Dime Worth Money - How Much Is It Worth And Why?

Whether it’s an error dime, variety dime, or key date dime, the dimes worth money are often worth big money - and I’m here to show you what to look for via a discussion of where the error or variety is on the coin and then close up pictures of it. A couple of years ago, l got a 1968d dime I mint condition. It was a rare find, and a nice addition to my collection.

Damn! That totally and completely looks like a silver dime other than the number 8 on it! I bet nobody in this world would be able to tell if it was a silver dime or not if they did not see the sides of this dime or the number 8 on it (no sound testing allowed either).

Hey treasure town... Could you please within your videos put the date on the screen as to when the video was made? Before I started watching this video I found a 1968 double die obverse with all the lettering doubled, and the mint mark doubled and so I checked your video and you mentioned that ms-65 or higher is about $175. So now I go to eBay and search for that coin in Ms 65 or higher, the highest price there is less than 40 bucks for ms65. Then I found a PCGS mint State 68 for 20 bucks .So when I look at your video I'm thinking that my coin can be worth close to $ 175 but it's not.
Hi SA... you bring up a good point. The error market fluctuates wildly, often since there are only a select number of buyers. The dates I release my videos are under the screen, but often the prices date back a few years as I source them from various guides that may not have updated recently. eBay sold is often a better way to check, but I unfortunately can't update prices after I release a video.

And I got to say it one more time. The way you described the coin in your videos is very professional. IPad videos on UA-cam at one time and I know what it takes to make each individual video and edit that video. So great job.
