Wishing you success.
I love
So glad to see the helicopter trip. If you spend all your time thinking only about training and the pommel, you will narrow your life to an unsustainable tunnel of unsatisfying stops and starts. Keep your focus broad and remember that you are more than an athlete. Much of who you are is not visible in any competition. Meditate! Good luck!
Your body looks Awesome💪🏻 & Good Luck on Your Olympic Journey☘️
Everyone including thise that refuse to confess to...has some rough water to wade through. Yes it feels like the tide is trying to pull you into deep water and out of your comfort zone.. just clear your mind of thought. Focus on one thing. Let things clear .as you did never cut short the training just go back to basics till your body wants more.
Best UA-cam content.. we are all behind you on your journey to success in Paris
My young friend, you Are in my prayers for what you Are trying.. top of your bucket list...cant wait to see you top of the podium.. by the way,, paris..please eat 1 time for me at the dome..maybe 2....
I’m happy that you’re sharing some of the sessions like the first one. Pommel can be unbelievably frustrating sometimes, particularly during a comp build up when the pressure is on to perform during trainings to build confidence in the routine. I find it so challenging to move past the bad sessions because of how much of an emotional toll they can take. I think that’s one of the most painful parts of gymnastics, but equally the most satisfying emotionally when the goal is ultimately achieved. It definitely gives me some confidence to see a dual world champ feeling some of the same things. Keep up the great videos Rhys, I’m really enjoying watching your Olympic journey!
Accepting that with some day/some times, the body can be fallible, a little fatigued and being perfect every time can lead to a lack of growth. Better that you hit the wall now and learn how to go thru it then to have that wall stop you from getting the win.We all have bad sessions where something is a little off so we focus on the quality and that will give us the quantity.Whatever is the weakness, make it your strength. Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back-you’re doing a good job- it’s about Paris..
Fantastic work and "business plan". Amazing discipline and perseverence, as usual. Always cheering for you!!
Rhys, you are looking really polished. Your broad interest only makes the polish deeper. Best of luck to you 👍. ❤🎉❤🎉😊
So glad that they weren’t all bad days!
You've got this!
Rooting for you! By the way, the way you guys swing your legs on the pommel horse reminds me of helicopter rotors. Is there a “helicopter” move in your sport?
Top of the day/night to you Rhys. Good luck at the Olympic Games. Hope you nab a medal, gold would be well deserved if all goes well. What are other apparatus/events would you consider a strength? Rooting for you and for, hopefully, Ireland’s first ever Olympic gymnastics medal👍🤸🐎
Awesome video! How was your helicopter experience?
get that redbull money
Your too hard on yourself Rhys the more negative self talk the more de motivate you will be, Focus on your positives and what that says about you.
