Trevor Dunn, one of the most criminally underrated bass players in modern music history. This video, his, shows you why him and Patton have had such a long musical and personal relationship - almost sounds like Patton talking and sounds like stuff he would say. Trevor doesn’t get the love and respect he deserves - look up how many Bungle songs he’s had a hand in writing. Not just music either, lyrics! Like Patton, I’m not gay, but I absolutely _love_ Trevor Roy Dunn. One of my bass heroes since 1991.
I love Dunn's music (writing/playing/etc) but I'm a little confused by the video. This is Trevor's video? Some of the "me" shots look nothing Trevor Dunn...
That is what I thought,@@halcharles9995. Beyondthenewhorizon in a previous comment says it's Dunn's video though. One or two shots do appear to be of Trevor when the narrator says "me", thus the confusion. Cool video regardless...
@@jimedenbaum2525 I agree with you - and I had seen the original comment... other commenters here assume the same as we did, that this is Crain. I think Beyondthenewhorizon just maybe got confused
That was the best 2:44 minutes I've ever lived! 😍 I got to be at the show in Vegas, with my kids, on Mother's Day! last year and it was just awesome! I still marvel about all the stuff they got on that stage (HoB) back in '1999! I swear the stage has shrink since then, lol! Thanks for this, I can't leave the house now, cuz I'm gonna be smiling for the next hour or so, lol! 😅
Cue sobbing rant: I bought 2 tickets for the Vegas show, thinking that my daughter and I would be taking our road trip out to LV. Shit got fucked up/ postponed, however I couldn't unload the tickets in time. I ate the tickets. Thus continues, to this day, the sad saga of me, a massive Mr B fan since 1992, STILL unable to see them live after all these decades, due invariably to sudden/ bizarre/ tragic circumstances each and every time I got close to doing so.
@@ZekeWhiting Yeah it was pretty cool. Death Grips finished and I walked 100 feet over to the stage right next to it and Bungle started. They had the stages streamlined so when one band finished another's set was starting. I enjoyed the festival for the most part.
Ohh thanks for sharing this. I’d love to see more behind the scenes touring clips, like bands used to do all the time then they’d release a DVD with all the footage plus some of the live shows. I love that echidna/porcupine tour companion!! I bought Mr Patton a new squeaky pig toy when I saw Bungle in Sydney recently, plus a bunch of other squeaky toys for the rest of the band. I was happy to see him take that pig along for the rest of the Australian shows. 😂
@@rogues1370 definitely one of the best for me too! I'm not much of a Melvins fan, but their performance was awesome! Great to hear your wish was granted and you had a blast!
The ASL interpreter's name is Gessi or Jessie (?). The entire crowd were chanting her name after Mike had asked her how to sign 'bullsh*t' in ASL 😂 I was there in the ADA area, front row with my daughter at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon.😅
please tell Mike I cant stop watching the colgne moje peeping tom cut i did see Mr Bungle in 92 or 4 6 bands 6 kegs 6 bucks Gurnville and also Cameran Park maybe 98
The great "Matter of fact", monotone narration with great wit is really what makes this. Since I've done that kind of thing for decades, at least when I was young, it makes you feel like are the one talking and are there. Or maybe it's just that I'd say the same crap. Great upload. Thanks much.
LOVE the tour diary. Laughed the whole time watching this!!! Caught them at their last show in Detroit. Incredible. I’m going through Mr. Bungle withdrawal. Also, was that Zach Hill I saw in one of the clips? Haven’t seen him in ages!!!
i'll be damned. just got into mr.bungle after reading will york's "who cares anyway?: post punk san francisco and the end of the analog age". looking forward to the next tour if that comes to be, but grateful that this humble behind-the-scenes vlog exists
I don't care if I come off slightly awkward -- I MUST ADMIT -- I enjoyed this so much. Kinda weird. I dig! Thank you for the inspiration and back scene explorations!
Mr. Bungle are all about being as far out there as possible, embracing your inner weirdness and having the balls to be yourself. They’ve impacted my life in such a _major_ way since that first album dropped in 1991 I could write a darn book on it. Still wish Bar, Theo and Danny were there, but at least the other 3 are. Bungle forever! 🤡 🧛♂️ 👺 👹 👿 👨🦲 - sorry, I was trying to do the old lineup with the masks they used to wear. Lol Cheers!
@@Oran_Lee_BassThat is so rad to have such vivid memories to hold onto. Those are of the most important. Maybe you should write a book about it!? Mr. Bungle found me and the authenticity mixed with the incredible talent makes me stay. They give me creative energy! All albums. (and the masks were great!) I revisit this video when in need of inspiration and/or motivation. It's a great creative supercut video and I appreciate it as a communication major way more than I should. Have a wonderful weekend!
Please come to Europe soon. 😊 And please do your own meditation relaxation tape, just narrating an average day in suburbia, it would keep me grounded when out in public ❤😅
Everytime I see Mike's hair I get a tension headache it looks so tight 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
carry stress in the scalp
"Here's Batman...really strange encounter", and Batman is saying "There's Bungle...really strange encounter."
Thank you for this, fucking fantastic.

2:27 That freaking shirt😆
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm from Olympia so I grew up on Melvins and the like. ❤🖤 And Mike Patton is my secret obsession. 🤫🤫
Heyyyy you should create an app reading bedtimes stories and meditations. I would buy it and listen in Mike’s bunk.
Coolest shirt I’ve seen this month so far!!
Thanks for sharing this. Give fans a glimpse behind the scenes. Very cool. Stay well!🤘
This being the most profound, insightful chronicle in recent memory.
The star of this video is Dave, staying on the bus
Yes! I laughed my ass off as soon as I saw Dave!!!
My hero and so many others. Dave is fuckin awesome!!

I love shit like this, and Eastbound & Down is great bus viewing as well. See you guys in London on June 12th! :D
Just got into death grips after years of knowing about them and living in Sac where they are from. No words can express how good they are… none.

Very much enjoyed this
I love you Michael 👊 stay healthy my brother.. All you guys rock! Hope Dead Cross can make it back thru Tucson again sometime. ❤

TRUE! Have we found out the Batman encounter location?
Awesomeness!!!
That was cool. Also, smooth announcer voice, hahahaha!
True Dave loves to stay on the bus! Met him when he was with Slayer in 2003!
