Not everyone needs to go lighter as she ages. With Caroleann's winter coloring, darker hair was better. She discovered how to make her hair fuller with dramatic eyes and fuller, softer lips. She felt absolutely not invisible.

OMG what a transformation. She looks 20 years younger even up close. So classy
No, she looks the exact same age, but she's wearing a lot more makeup, her hair has been done (which costs money and also, many women have that horrible mix of lots of grey with plenty of the original color, which can make you look so washed out so she is lucky), her blouse is tucked in (big one) AND the glasses obscure the ageing skin around her eyes (another big one).
