Hey i have the bell notifications set to ALL. I had to hunt for THIS video. You have struck a nerve and your video IS being SHADOW BAND/HIDDEN. Please dont let it go ignored. This was a Great video. It is pointing out the grasping nature of WoTc and Hasbro (Has-beens as i call em) Love your channel especially the Drag Race Character Builds. Thanks love you all.
It's a real shame they're dumping the other giant-themed subclasses they were playtesting. The Circle of the Primeval and the School of Runecarving looked like they'd be really fun to play. Plus, I'm still salty over the OGL shitstorm. Frankly, I'd advise Variant Sailor Background-ing it to make a fog giant proud. (for legal reasons this is a joke)
Looking forward to the content, going to have to wait and get the hardcover second hand if I could, along with WotC's other books for several reasons. Tad shame that the Rune Wizard sub-class didn't make it.
I was unaware of a Rune Wizard subclass. That would have been cool! I feel there's so little in the book for what people will pay for it. It doesn't make sense.
Good question. I'm speculating here, but maybe it's because the majority of their market is in the US? That would make sense as a way to increase revenue without other countries seeing increases.
Me to. The Death Giant from 3.5 and the Eldritch giant were some of my favorite monsters back in the day. We will still probably get the book cause content but I hate how money grubbing the WOTC is becoming. Also printing cost really haven’t gone up.

Thank you for letting me know! So far it's on the low end of average for my videos. I'll see what's up.

From what I’ve seen this seems like a giants equivalent to Fizban’s. Except you pay more for less and it’s even less useful for non-DMs.

I agree about the rune wizard. I really wanted that and it made for a great Indiana Jones type wizard PC I was thinking of.
Honestly just want to live my dream of being zeus in dnd
And then it came out WITH a.i art, so the people who pre-ordered it have their copies permanently stuck with bad soulless art. :(
Weird price is about the same in the uk wonder why its more in America when wotc is an American company

$69 also gets you a physical and DnDBeyond digital copy.
Looking forward to the new monsters
100% we are as well. New monsters are always welcome!

$78 Canadian 😪
Exchange rates suck sometimes.
So is it set on Oerth or Faerun?
Afaik, Faerun.
