Can you cover gauntlets? Like, I think I kinda know what the vibe would be with one - having heard about Dungeon Crawl Classics; another "old school" style game that does lvl 0 - but would love a summary video on them. (Like an overview of them, how many backups to bring, if the Shadowdark ppl put out any official ones, etc.) Also, have you guys played Shadowdark yourselves? If so a "so this is how our first game went" video would also be interesting to see 👍👍
I'd love to cover the gauntlet! I should run it first just to make sure it's properly covered. Yes! I've been DMing Shadowdark the past two weeks and it's been AMAZING. I ran four level 1 premades and then two level 3 premades (leveled up from the level 1s). The simpler rules really let my players play instead of reading their sheets and game prep took 25 minutes, max.
Oh wow! As someone coming from 5e (Who tends to spend hours OVER PREPPING lol) that does sound enticing 👀 👀 👀 Mind listing off the premades you ran?? Or even, just shouting out the premade you liked the best? Edit: Forgot to mention... Awesome! Yeah an overview of the gauntlet for those not familiar (myself included 😅) I think could be really useful to ppl looking to check out the new system
@@christopherdaurio2617 The premades were all from the Kickstarter. The characters were a fighter with no Dex, a goblin cleric, an orc rogue, and a human wizard with mutations (artwork only). The level 1 dungeon was from 4e that I adapted to Shadowdark and the level 3 dungeon came with the Kickstarter. I will say that we had characters almost die multiple times. It was fun! The torch mechanic is fantastic. It forces players to move, especially if you have an hourglass to see time flicker away.
Have you played Shadowdark? Do you want to? Let us know!
Sup worms, I like your content. Have a sub!
Thank you! 😁
Great video! Would be cool to see more Shadowdark content.
Thanks! I look forward to making more.
Great video, thanks a lot!! I hope we will see more video on other ttrpgs.
@@dedededededededede we have plans for EZD6 when after we settle in from moving!
I really liked the one shot and how the classes don’t have to many skills.
The lack of skills make it easier to jump in and play.
