Wow! I watched this the night before my 3rd outing of the year (usually only go once a year). This video COMPLETELY changed my game. Hit significantly better drives, and even got the first birdie that I can remember! Thank you!
I've been playing golf for 27 years and only recently had a lesson specifically on driving the ball. Completely changed my approach and the tip about hitting up on the ball made a HUUUGGGEE difference! Top stuff as always Rick.
Took my wife out to play her first round ever on Saturday. Would love to see a video on getting someone on the course for the first time and making sure they have fun and don't get discouraged. Thanks for all you do Rick!
My friend that had 13 years of experience sort of guided me through etiquette and "unwritten rules". When to just accept defeat and pick the ball up. He taught me how to keep pace with still playing bad but also being respectful to others. It was a big help. At first I was very nervous about playing on an actual course becuase of all the rules and etiquette. It's honestly a pretty daunting task and can turn a lot of people off to it before they even give it a try.

I have struggled with the driver and after watching your tips on set up and positioning of the feet I have improved really well...I would say the swing plane and aiming correctly was an eye opener for me...just lining up the ball where you'd like it to go has been very helpful. Many thanks for the great video's and tips.
I’ve been golfing for a month, and am already making tremendous improvements. Much of what I’ve learned to better my game has come from you, I appreciate you and god bless!
Brought me down from beginner to 15 handicap in a couple of years. I couldnt afford to have lessons and these videos have been a god send. Keep it up Rick!
Started golfing last week went to the range a few times was hooking almost every shot. Watched this video this morning went to the range today made a few adjustments and now 250-275 straight almost every shot thank you so much for your videos!!
Wow I just tried the lean back and naturally my body brought my left knee bag and my left knee forward at the hit. Hell yeah! Thank you definitely subbed
Been golfing this year for the first time since i was a kid. Still trying to teach myself, trying to teach myself to rotate when i swing which currently i don't. So every lesson helps. Thanks.
Hey Rick, I'm not going to pretend I've completely fixed my driver swing, but after watching this video today I hit 100 balls at the driving range today and I hit the vast majority of them without a slice, and much much further. Thanks for all the tips!
You're an awesome instructor, Rick. I had cobbled together these tips from your previous videos: ball position, body position, etc... I even brought out some powder spray last time at the range (got a couple of looks). That said, I've gone from hitting about 200-210 with my driver to 235-245 with much better ball flight/shot shape (might be getting a 250-260 carry). Also, I used your tips for improving my range practice and these last few have been the most productive I've had. Thanks so much for your videos. Please keep up the good work.
THANK YOU! Another great video. Excellent stuff across the board. Your four part video on fixing slice has changed my golf game forever and has all but eradicated a 20 years battle with the dreaded shot.
This has really helped me with my driving. I've always been fairly competent with my iron play but always struggled with my driver. This had sorted me right out! Thanks Rick! ✌️
Golf is an ever adjusting game hitting woods vs irons, ball lies, reading greens, hitting down hill, uphill, putting always learning something from Rick. Just have to remember to bring what Rick has taught to the course.
I'm in Canada. Vancouver Island. I think you are the best tutor on golf teaching. I have learnt so much from you. I'm actually begining to really enjoying paying the game. I have played in many other places including St Andrews.
Glad I'm one of the 1.15 million. Congrats on the followers, and another great and to the point video. some people say the same thing over and over and over again and could do a 6-minute video like you did with this one but instead they make it an 18 or 20 minute video which tends to be too long when you hear the same thing, and make us not want to watch it or skip over most of it!!
The last round of golf I played, I used the tilted upper body technique while hitting my driver. I hit the ball so much better than I usually do. Also focused more on accelerating my downswing. Can’t wait to hit the course again.
Very good video...excellent list of things to remember and work on. Especially like the way you drop your articles..."hitting THE driver" becomes "hitting driver". Very English/Scottish.
Can never have enough good advice. I've come down from 16hcp to shooting low 80's every round and looking at single figures. Thanks for all your videos Rick.
I like to say thank you so much. Using your video I have been able to drive so much more Consistent this video help a lot Recommend to anyone new to golfing

Mr. Sheils, I'm the person who almost never leaves a comment but I feel I'm now compelled to do so. I've seen and read a lot of driver instruction in the past BUT this one clicked and the lights are fully on for me. I literally watched this at least 10 times before heading to the range. I've never hit driver better in my life. For perspective I've been playing for about 6 years now and I'm 19.6 handicap. Feel that number will be coming down a bit more. It's all due to this incredible video you put together. It has allowed me to FINALLY truly understand the concept of the driver setup and swing in its totality. I truly can't thank you enough my good sir but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and Thank you some more!!!!!
Thanks for these videos!! I got back into golfing just over a month ago. Hadn’t golfed in over a decade. Getting back into it, I found you on YT. I went from scoring 118 a month ago to scoring 103 yesterday. Thoroughly enjoy the videos and correcting/improving my game!!
These videos are great educational tools because they deliver bite sized pieces of wisdom clearly and succinctly. The graphics are very helpful. I find myself viewing selected videos based on my current problems. The tips are immediately actionable. Memo to self: don’t hit down on my driver tomorrow!
Just finished at the range today and using your driving series and other videos, I've never hit a ball as long, straight, or consistent. I never thought I would break 200 yards but now while increasing my clubhead speed under control im hitting consistently 250. Thanks again and can't wait for more content.

Thanks for the tips and keep them coming 👍
