- Welcome back ladies and Gentlemen to the channel. This is the latest episode on the Starcraft 2 co-op guide on Kerrigan, the first zerg commander that is free to the game (Which is also free as well). In this episode similar to last time, I share with all of you my experiences and tips on how to play this commander and how to navigate the Starcraft 2 world. One thing before I leave this off is that I am sorry for my upload schedule and I am getting better with it every day. With all of this being said I will see you all in the next one! Bye-bye!

Raptorlings have 2 major jobs
1) getting a small splat of them to tear apart the blockade on the second resource base, be it rocks or debris
And
2) taking that splat and charging them at the enemy blindly to scout out what you're fighting and use the tool tip to plan accordingly on what you will need to fight
I've found that raptorlings are pretty great... for eating an enemy base after Kerrigan and her hydralisks have cleared out all other threats.
Solid units indeed, however, there are others that are debatably better at that job
Just use hydras for that

Wow this was better than i expected
Kerrigan is best used alone, she needs no army. You can solo pretty much any mission with her if you know what you're doing.
After you build her up first though. She really likes those upgrades. P2 in particular suits her well as it's much more ability focused, and P3 gives her powerful anti-air at the cost of her speed and escape.
That may be true from easy to medium, but several maps on higher difficulties where using her as a solo will get her toasted.
Solo Kerrigan in any brutation is also suicide. She's good, but not THAT good.
Also her mutalisks are some of the best units in the game, so deliberately not using them is kind of dubious.
@@brainwasher9876 She's viable as a solo unit up to Brutal difficulty. Anything past that or with mutations would require either a god tier player or using her units. I should have been more specific, I guess.
@@tacticalteamkilling6539 She's viable in certain maps on brutal, but not maps with super bowl attendance numbers or against certain comps. Tempest heavy comps insta-focus her down on Oblivion Express, for example.
Also, any leg work you're not doing is essentially slack that your teammate needs to pick up. With a very strong buddy solo Kerrigan is like...viable on all maps, but mainly as a support role. At a certain point, it starts looking less like a viable strategy and more like a self-imposed handicap at the expense of your teammate.

funny how the devs added raptorlings and then they were like "sike there are barely any places on the map to use the ability effectively"

I just started playing starcraft again and I tried the custom maps.. and I noticed that kerrigan is in her human form whenever I select her as my commander.. is there a way to change her to the queen of blades form for customs co-op.?
Her units aren't all expensive or useless. Raptorlings are great when the enemy doesn't have ground splash as a mineral sink or before p0 they're your only good mineral sink. And other than ultras, lurkers, and broodlords nothing costs too much.
In the zagara video i also saw u evolving multiple hatcheries to lairs and hives. I got my fair gametime in sc2 but now i wonder why u upgrade them. As far as i know they dont produce more lavae nor need it? owo
They have more life that makes harder to kill!

I dont know what prestige of kerrigan is better,i have all of them and i dont know what i choose
P3 is easily the best. A more balanced Kerrigan that can fight effectively against air, and the double resources helps everyone.
