Wish I could afford thissnare or any star drum but my starclassic bb hyperdrive kit and slp black brass snare drum is my perfect setup and wouldn’t trade it for the world at great price points. Tama all dayyyy
I can't be the only one who sees that the actual product surface is not at all the same surface we see where the man hammers the shell.. in fact, from what I see, the shell surface in actuality doesn't look like a hammrerd one, more like if someone wanted to mimic a 'hammered' look. am I paranoid or what?
I love it how he is hammering the shell in time with the guy who is playing the snare.
I hope that man hammering the snare makes some good ass money
What an awesome advert! The snare looks and sounds amazing!!

I have mine. Sounds stunning.
Tama should resume production of:
Tama 13 "x 3" hammered steel "Piccolo" Snare Drum, a unique sounding snare drum

TAMA, how about a cast copper snare ?
Nice "tail" sounding
Have a sink from mexico made like that.
METAL SNARE

Sadly, I assume its a welded shell, based on the fact that, they didn't say it was or wasnt. Better off buying a joyful noise.

I traded my starphonic copper and bought this.
Any regrets? Not that either is bad, but was the price difference justified?

What you are seeing is the final result of the shell after lots of buffing, which follows the hammering stage.
I love the hand hammered metal snare but a bronze hand hammered? Oh god thats amazing. Tama makes art. Not drums lol
