For me, a Billy fan for over 30 years, his greatest influence on me has been to question and modify. I'm American, I'm a 28 year old truck driver and I'm a huge fan of Billy Bragg. In the short term I am a pretty standard Progressive Justice Democrat but in the long term i dream of Fully Automated Luxury Communism. I am opposed to violent revolution as anything but an absolute last resort because I place a huge value on all human lives, and I see no violent revolt that won't be a total humanitarian disaster. My hope is that over the next few decades we can peacefully transition over as emerging technologies start to allow for such a society to exist

It will truly be a dystopia, with famine, repression of action and thought. After the proletariat ‘takeover’ the new economy will head towards peak output with a completely undefined ‘new system of technological abundance’. Being a truck driver with youth on your side in possibly the greatest country (freedoms, living conditions, security, peaceful) the world has ever seen is beyond fortunate. I've always believed that the Founders of America could not have been stupid enough to think we achieved Liberty when America was forned. I believe that they intended every successive generation to bring us closer to the values we were founded on.
