Agh, I miss my old man. Who do you go to for counsel, who’s opinion can you seek, even when it’s not what you wanted to hear? Tainted by war service, PTSD, and alcohol? Man, what I’d give to sit and chat with with the old bugger. Thanks Billy Bragg. Best regards.
I just hit the one-year anniversary of losing my dad. This song is more beautiful but still hits me hard. Lovely to find this version on this show-and with Ian.

Thanks billy , had this at my fathers funeral .. cheers
Love Billy Bragg and was a big fan of the Craig Ferguson Show. Great song.
I’ve been to hundreds of gigs, but the best one I ever saw was Billy Bragg. Never have I seen a person perform with more integrity, simply amazing.
I've probably seen Billy 8-10 times...New Orleans,Dallas, Houston, Baton Rouge.....he's second only to the Neville Bros...LOVE YA BILL
Love this song and always makes me think of my dad. Also great to see the late great Ian McLagan from the Small Faces on keyboards alongside Billy.
I am a Fan since i was 15. Now i am 55. And now we go to His Concert in Cologne.
I am old😢
but young at heart.....cheers
Always brings a tear to my eye 😢
Is that Ian McLagan on the keyboards??
