- This is the 2025 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.
The Gold Wing platform has evolved considerably in the half-century since its introduction, but it has always remained true to the vision of making long-distance riding comfortable and enjoyable.
For the 2025 model year, that mission is furthered through the addition of wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but most of the updates are centered on aesthetics, with new distinctive colors and plenty of anniversary badges intended to mark the special occasion.
The Gold Wing is the first and still the only motorcycle offered in an airbag version, featuring technology that operates via an acceleration sensor and main control unit.
It is powered by the same 1833cc engine, making 125 horsepower and 170 Newton-meters of torque. The power is sent to the road via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, or via a 6 speed manual gearbox. Both powertrains have a reverse mode.
For model-year 2025, most Gold Wing versions also come with two free commemorative gifts: a coffee-table book, covering the model's rich history, and a tabletop 3D model, with a 1975 bike on one side and a 2025 motorcycle on the other.
Prices are starting from 29,000 US dollars.

Dear Honda. As the owner of a pre 2019 Goldwing (2003) PLEASE being back the comfort of the previous models. Best way I can describe riding the new models is this. If I want to sit on, or ride, a sports bike, i will buy another one. You made everything after 2019 feels like you are sitting ON the bike. My 2003 (with a modified customer seat , but same comment will holds true for the original seats) you feel like you are sitting IN the bike. Like it is a part of you on every straight away, every corner, every 500 mile plus day. This bike is made to go 700+ , 800+ miles a day (and we do!) so make it comfortable enough that we actually can. Make Honda COMFORTABLE again.
Yes please bring back the Old style Godwing with an upgraded Transmission. The new one is much smaller and not made for bigger guys at all!

Pathetic. Honda is in a death spiral now I guess. Oh well that Indian Pursuit at the local dealer is sure looking better and better every day now.

Ugliest colors - no new features - Honda resting on its laurels and they’re about to get busted. If you buy one, hope you know somebody in the wrap business.
Honda, through its dealer network, should be the "somebody" you know in the wrap business IMHO. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems that the Gold Wing has over the years become less & less able for owners to accessorize & customize. H-D & Indian make much better platforms for an owner to personalize. Even "dull" BMW offers more exciting choices and has seemingly leapfrog Honda. I feel also that all 3 have caught up to Honda in innovation and reliability.

We could probably look at a few things like: slumping sales, however, the Japanese are now lacking innovation, which is remarkable considering their history.
Proof to the concept, Honda barely mustered up a price increase, which is highly unusual, but likely signifies there inabilities
Matte Black DCT is a much better color than the 2024 Green. The Green sucked. I'd consider this bike.
A matte dct touring model would of been nice as well. At least its better than last years green bikes that are still sitting at dealers.

Definitely off target. With the release delay many loyal enthusiasts were expecting something else. I know I was!
Maybe if the brown wasn't so brown.... nope, still not good. Honda could have done so much better with color choices. An idea of mine. A year ago, they could have used social media and asked people their choices for colors. I guess I will wait for 2026 or 2027 colors.
