    Your channel is a god send. Sooo many helpful tips on how to do things. I tried Blender for a while a couple years ago but was just a bit overwhelmed with it all and felt that my creations were lacking in a lot. However, just looking at this guide of how it can be used in different ways shows how even a simple design can be elevated much higher with good use of blender's lighting and additional touch ups in a drawing programme. Genuinely thank you so much, especially considering this is all available for free.

    Ctrl+alt+0 for creating and placing camera from view and Shift+` for tweaking set camera view(mouse and wasd), saves me some time and is not as interuptive as tweaking manually separate axis. Fantastic job, thank you for sharing!

    i have been trying to make something like this for so long, but i really dont know where to start, i have seen bunch of concept art tutorial but i dont understand most of their explanation or too fast explaining, then i found your tutorial and the text guide are really helped me even if the text too fast i can always make it slower, and now i have spend around 3-4 hours making this and i have reach the photoshop sections, i have learned alot from this, thank you so so much

    Your work is so inspiring. I'm always cheking to see if you've uploaded anything new. I always wonder how much time do you spend in every piece. I think my problem is I don't have the patience to spent the time needed to develop it enough. I always want it finished quickly. I think you spent your time trying and thinking how do you want things to look. I aspire to have the confidence you seem to have in every step of the way. Keep it up! And thanks for the inspiration.

    if you ask me blender to concept art is only good if it's maybe some complex 3d curvy shape where u need a reference or for maybe big landscapes where you need tiled textuters like rocks or grass to draw it from otherwise it's useless and concept art should be done in 2d software then made in a complete 3d envirnoment

    • @JordanGrimmer

      I agree. The whole point of this video though is to show a simple process for people who want to learn it.

    Hey! Wonderful tutorial but I tried to follow along and when comes the time to turn the point light into sun, it becomes all blocky and jagged. Most fixes online are for point only so I have to admit I am a bit lost.

    • @JordanGrimmer
      @JordanGrimmer  2 роки тому

      Hey! Thank you :) I think the problem might be that your Shadow Cube and Cascade Size might be too low, in the Render Properties tab on the right. Have a look to see if increasing these fixes it.

      @@JordanGrimmer Goddamn you're fast! It unfortunately stayed jittery but that answer made my evening more than a fix haha
      I'm thinking it might be my PC which is probably too weak for that, so Area light all the way it is! Thanks again for everything you do mate, cleanest job I've ever seen

    This would be far more informative and enjoyable to learn from if you actually used your voice or a voice of some kind, it's too much to pay attention to what you are doing and to also read all the wording.
