Hi! Only one question. Will the lights turn on automatically when I unlock the car?
Hi Jimmy, In the wiring configuration shown, it follows the ignition cycle. So truck in RUN /Engine ON would turn on the lights, Off would turn it off.

I have it installed and work great but I can’t get the app to work my iPhone Bluetooth doesn’t detect the main module , is there something I am missing with the Bluetooth connection ?

So far I finished installing all LEDs off of the master controller and I AM LOVING IT! I'll be tackling the door LEDs some other day when I have time. Question... is master controller connected to slave controllers wirelessly???

@WeekndGarage that's awesome and didn't expect that. I was dreading the idea of running wires to all 4 doors. Sorry to bother you with questions... how do I change the color of zone 2 for foot well, drink holders and door latches with switch?

What is needed to add for the voice box and small light detection to install and make them work?. The voice box is for the music sync or for voice command?.
That’s work in progress, not much interest in those functions so haven’t spent time developing the little gimmicks as opposed to the whole system 😄

Hey, I have a question about your video on ambient light installation. Most of the other videos I've seen show people tapping into a fuse in the fuse box to power the host controller, but you just wrapped the power wire with the fuse. Is that safe, or is the hardwiring method using a tap-in fuse safer?
Also, what would happen if the host draws too much power and blows up the existing car fuse?
@@javedmath1015 Hi there, it makes no difference in terms of safety with a fuse tap. Aesthetically it may look cleaner.
In this electrical circuit we are describing at F65 fuse which is a 10 amp fuse, since the power draw of our system is minimal and under 2amps. It is not possible to draw enough power to trip the 10amp fuse unless there was a short in that case would trip any fuse larger than the smallest gauge wire behind this fuse it’s protecting.
We have our dash cam front rear, star headliner and the interior ambient lighting wired to this 10amp fuse and it has never tripped in 4+ years of running the truck.
If the factory fuse was to trip from short circuiting or overcurrent, then you would replace it with another correct size fuse as the fuse has done its job of protecting the circuit in front of it. You can investigate if it’s a short causing the fuse to trip or an over current prior to replacing the fuse to prevent another similar event.

Do these work on any 5th gen rams like the rebel? And also does my vehicle had to have a previous package in my vehicle to make these ambient lights work?
Yep it’s designed for the 5th gen ram. Demo vehicle is a Rebel, no packages or options are required as this is a standalone kit that is plug and play with no cutting, drilling or splicing wire is required.

Yep, demo vehicle is a Rebel as well. Would fit your GT perfectly.

I have a 22 gt, does the console slide back the same with shifter being in middle console
And what if you have the stock lighting on the door handles already
What do you do with those?
Installs exactly the same with the TRX/GT consoles. We recommend to remove the dim factory lighting, it won’t be visible after you install ours anyways as it washes out the dim oem lighting.

There is one longer plug that says zone1 short led what's that for?

@WeekndGarage there was no option for that I would of bought that also. To make it complete. Also there is 2 diferent types of door light a d I ordered the 3. Also one more question I have bighorn with plain door panels and the strip sticks out a little is that normal? I just setup and started to open I will continue tomorrow

Kewl video and have this in my "cart". I watched the entire video but missed the part where you add the manual adjustment switch under the display. Is there a video that shows how you set this up? Also, what does the app look like? Would be great to include the app and how to use it.

No it doesn’t void warranty, it does not permanently alter any existing equipment and the whole kit can be removed in under 15 minutes!

And for wondering the the tape he refers to as Velcro tape it’s called tesa tape expensive and the same stuff the factory uses
And don’t listen to his way of installing power to the fuse panel use a fuse tap and make sure to watch a video on how properly use a fuse tap

Its not protected by the fuse if you have it on the leg that gets the power... Just get an add a fuse
Can’t you just add a fuse tap instead of wrapping wire around it and piggyback the fuse off the tap ?
Sure you could if you want, it makes no difference in terms of protection because if you run a fuse tap it’s still behind the factory 10amp fuse.
Having 2 inline 10amp in series within 1 inch of each other adds zero value in terms of protection
Definitely want to add a fuse tap if that fuse blows, depending on which side of the fuse, you wrap your wire around, you’ll still have power
