Hey, my family does the "Christmas Eve new pajamas" thing, too! Cool! And we still do that even now, it's so nice to open presents the next day wearing my brand new PJs. (edit: idk about what quality jammies I've been given, but they're new. I think some years the pjs are kinda...idk, light? This year they were light. But at the same time, I'll wear these pajamas outside of Christmas, so if I'm going to get mileage out of them all year, some of them have to be able to take warm summer nights without me overheating.)(edit 2: I should remember your halter-design! One of my characters is going to have a halter with a very specific extra strap on it, and I'm really looking forward to trying it!)

Mum and dad work very hard on Christmas. We don't have much money. Dad doesn't work, mum doesn't get paid enough and we have 4 pets, 3 kids and 2 adults in the family. But we always find a way. Merry Christmas!

Haha we did the same thing with driving around on Christmas eve looking at the lights. We used to do that back all the way up to 2019 and we stopped because Covid and me going to college. The older I have gotten, I also feel like the family gathering is more fun (and the loads of baking LOL). My birthday is on Christmas too so my extended family also gets to see me on my birthday. I think just the experiences last way longer than the gifts looking back.

Some things the family does (it’s just my mom, my dad and me here) are we go out to pick a tree together, we do a hug test too where we of course hug the tree, and we play Christmas music and decorate it together! We might watch a festive Christmas movie, go sledding, or drink hot chocolate. There was this little train that we set up under the tree but sadly something happened to it (a piece got lost or the whole thing got lost or something it might have even got damaged) and even the cats and dogs got presents! The dogs died but we got another one and she is a sweetheart. I’m not Christian btw, I’m atheist, but it’s still a lot of fun!
Also this year I only got like two presents and my mom started crying because she thought me leaving her room on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve meant I was upset about not getting any presents but I knew I wasn't going to get a lot of presents and I didn't really want a lot of presents because like in the video presents don't matter it's a time you spend with everyone else no matter what it is. Besides a lot of things went down between Christmas and New years. Also my sister moved to Kentucky so I can't really see her anymore and I'm not really happy with that but I do believe she deserves to live with the ones that truly love her.
This lesson is something I always knew but never actually appreciate until this year. I was helping my whole family make Christmas breakfast. I was done washing the grapes and just looked around. My mom and I were all alone in our little apartment. I was around 3 years old and saw the the tree. I can still remember where it was standing. It was in our living room on the right of the door to our balcony and there was one little present underneath it. It was raped in red and shiny paper. It was a wooden box with two mice, one male and one female and matching clothes like a doctor and a nurse and a wedding dress an a suit. I was so happy and it was my favorite toy since we moved away and lost it. My mom and I are trying to find this toy since today and couldn't find it. Some people are impressed that I still remember that. Hope you and anyone that gets to read this like my little story and sorry if there are some bad grammar in this text. English isn't my first language and I wish you all happy holidays.

That makes a lot of sense the 3 hours of your life into a $30 item. Like with me I don't make a lot of money but I still end up giving presents to my younger siblings before I give presents to my mom it's kind of hard if you think about it when you live in a town where you can't get a job because no place wants to hire you and any place that would hire you, are always low-paying jobs or terrible jobs that no person should ever work at. I only get $25 a year for Christmas and I use it all to buy Christmas presents for everyone else who I love and cherish. The biggest gift I'm going to be giving to my little sister and her sister are a home living with me so they wouldn't have to go through what me and my older sister had to go through. Obviously I know there are many people around the world that don't get presents anytime of the year and I know they don't get much food throughout the year. Christmas has lost its true meaning throughout the years it used to be all about buying toys for your children so they would be happy and to look forward to something other than their birthday. But then big companies started making things so expensive that it ended up making things too expensive like with Black Friday. People get injured on that day just because they want to buy all of the low price stuff.

You can get foam ones at spotlight but I don't know if they are very good quality.
