I believe so, but what it has is the bezel with the buttons for use, then you pull the popouts from the aircraft model and pull them into the bezel frames in Air Manager. I've not been able to get that to work successfully, just fyi, but I believe that is the process. It works the same for the G1000.
@@flightsimguides So would you suggest just getting one touch screen for the main gauges, and then buy the tangible GNS530/430 combos from RealSimGear?
Hi, yes you can run air manager on iPad…. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on windows but you will lose some screen real estate and last I knew it is not compatible with the Knobster (while using iPad). If u already have one though, can’t hurt to play. Download air manager and put together a cockpit and connect. I had issues with wirelessly connecting, which is why I was super happy to have air manager right on the pc. Let us know how it goes!
Would u please show me how to move the garmin1000 2 screens to my new 21 in screen from the main screen. I have a knobster. Which c 172 do i need to get. I have MFS 2020. I’m trying to learn to use the glass panels but have vision issues an would like to bring the two screens in closer for tutorials. Thanks. Ron in San Diego
I’ve never used the g1000 in the sim but I would imagine you need to pop the g1000 screen into its own window then move it to your air manager panel. I’ll play around with it and see if I can figure it out on the Cessna 172.
dual encoder won't flash? can't find any info anywhere. It's recognized com9 (usb-serial ch340). I try to flash with both boxes checked and I get the "won't flash" message. Any suggestions, please.
Do u have the Knobster? That should work out of the box without a flash. I don’t remember flashing mine anyway but it’s been a while. If you have a third party dual encoder you might need to reach out to whom you’ve purchased it from for specific install instructions.
@@flightsimguides no its the flight velocity one. I thought it would work out of the box like the knobster and just be a cheaper version of it. It's a strugle, now I am wondering if I also have to buy a board with it. I thought it was also a plug and play device.I am going to have to email them. Thanks for the reply though. I watch your vids all the time to help with my sim set up.
@@mikechristison7843 hey glad you are enjoying the channel, that’s awesome…. There are instructions on this page on what to do if the encoder doesn’t flash. Does that help? flightvelocity.com/products/flight-velocity-dual-encoder. - there’s also a link to the sim innovations wiki which might be helpful.
@@flightsimguides Thanks, ya I did go through that page and the wiki page, haven't had any luck. I will email the support and send them a screen shot of the error message that I'm getting and see if they can help me get it solved. It's very weird as it has a com channel regognized and it knows its a diy knobster as well. It might even be a windows 11 issue. Anyways, thanks for your help. Mike
Air manager is great. Love it. It is so flexible. It works with X-Plane and MSFS
Yea Air Manager has been great…. I hope they keep adding more gauges and custom cockpits…
Switch encouder configuration with ?
Dual encoder is called a Knobster. It works with Air Manager software created by Sim Innovations.
Can you get the Garmin 530 and 430 combos on Air Manager?

Bonjour, can I run Air Manager on my iPad even if I run X Plane 12 on a PC (Windows 11) ?

What size touchscreen did you go with?
I believe the one on my setup is a 15.6”…. I wish I had a bigger one but the bigger the screen you get the bigger the panel u need to mount it.

I just wish that MSFS supported cockpits like X Plane does :-(.
Don’t we all…
