join me as i revisit a local beach mark in search of Cod. Watch me struggle with the after effects of storm Darragh. #seafishing #fishing #dji #fish #northumberland #angler #cod #fishinglife
Well done mate least you had a few codlings out for your efforts, nowt worse than the dreaded weed spoiling things. A great watch as always Graham tight lines and merry crimbo.
Well done on staying out for so long, weed is a bain in the ass. At least you caught one so not a failed session, all the best for Christmas and looking forward to the next one.
Well done😀I had a nightmare session with kelp a couple of weeks ago, managed a 53cm bass then was totally kelped out, kelp was huge, really tough going and ended up packing it in…unfishable….Merry Christmas, and good luck in 2025😀xxx
@@angelaburke6303 thank you, yes the last few sessions have been a struggle. Just gotta keep trying I suppose. Thanks for watching and merry Christmas and a happy new year to you also , tight lines for 2025
Another great video Sid, it's always great to get out after a good storm but when the weed is bad it's a nightmare, at least you got a nice condition codling and got it back like an Olympic sprinter, keep up the hard work mate, hope you and your family have a great Christmas, tight lines.
You done great in bad weed conditions nice to see you put the smaller fish back you mentioned lug worm I swear by it in winter best bait for me . Great effort merry christmas❤
Great video Graham, you certainly try to grind it out , top marks for trying, don’t know if I’ve missed it in a past video but could you run through your tackle please 👍
@@stevenmorrison8413 depends if you like using braid or mono. Personally I'm all in for braid now after using it for a couple of years. There is plenty good brands about now. I use daiwa j braid 100lb on my rough ground reels, but manster is a good budget range of braid off Amazon. Line strength - it depends what you use it for . If spinning you dont need to go more than 20lb. From the beach with a shock leader I go 45lb braid , 100lb shock. Rough ground 80-100lb.
