I applaud 👏🏼 you sir for this very detailed knowledge. I am putting together an L29 block right now and have some really nice Liberty Performance Plus dual springs and this rotator eliminator info is spot on and so helpful with the facts of what is needed exactly for these constant diameter dual springs to work. I have to break my Voodoo cam in with just the outer section of the spring. Once the cam is broke in I reinstall the inner spring is the only difference in my setup. Well done. 👍🏼
@@fullytekmechanical3595 Hi Gregory,on the intake valves how did you put them together? I have to install five shims to reach 1.900 is there another way to with out shimming the intake?thank you
Will a sbc with a small .490 lift really make a diff .if i use shims with the locators? I am right at 1.90 on all with either .060 or 030 shims under the locator.

Very well put together video.
Good vidja sir. Very helpful
did you machine the intake valve pocket to get the installed height for the intake valves?
Still need locator cups with steel heads?
Should this be done to every spring kit?, I have comp cams 26926ts kit should I measure though I'm told they'll work right out the box.
Measure everything every time

@@robertalmaguer1331 you can order offset valve locks .

Shims are fine . But if you can get away with not using them its better.

Could you have used +.050 locks to get you're installed height and then shim to where you needed?
We did it in one piece and the retainer clears the rocker arm.
My way is better than using .037 in shims
@@fullytekmechanical3595 ok yeah was just wondering since I didn't have a lathe to turn the locators down definitely good way to do it
