Really enjoy your video's . I live in Eddyville, Ky and used a lot of the crappie magnet's . They are great ! Thank for the information .
Good times there

Hey the smallmouth are going crazy up here @LakeCherokee Morristown TN
Thank you
Really enjoyed your video. I'd have one heck of a crappy Nugent fish fry.. 😋 gonna catch some hopefully after our weather gets better..
Nice fishing
once again my gut is busted! Justin says he catching skid marks hahahahaha! JUSTIN YOU NEVER DISSAPOINT!!
Absolutely loved the dock fishing video for crappie. Do You think the fishing would have been better if the water would have been a little clearer? Maybe?
The live scope is gonna help you catch bait way faster
Like #517 Justin enjoyed the content keep it coming! Good job!
Carp fishing vid coming soon? Loved those!
Hopefully soon. I tried twice last week and only caught one carp.
Great video as always, I've heard people call the crappie with the black stripe a magnolia crappie. Keep the videos coming brother
Binge watching Justin today
Magnolia Crappie with stripe on their head. Hybrid between a white and black crappie
Looks like a crappie magnet
Love them dinner plate papermouths mmmhhmmm
Dam Channel cats !
Crappies are good eating and very good cut bait for catfish.
Good video.....you know I wasn't going to miss this one.
Thanks Randy!
Have u ever use rooster tails
Justin those are called black nose crappie
What kind of bucket are you keeping the crappie in?
We call those with the stripe "magnolia crappie".
Any idea why they call them that? I always wondered .
Everyone’s crappie fishing already while it just now snowed where I’m at, fuck this
Man that's when ultralight fishing is fun catching all different kinds
Wanna go shallow throw a small bobber on it bud and jig it love the video as always
AWSOME CRAPPIE BROTHER
Hey said that isn't skid marks it's his mowhawk lmfao 🤣😂
Out of all the ppl that iv watch that do fishing videos. Your hands down top number 1.
You don't ack like you know it all .
You don't say this the best way to do something.
👍👍
Thanks John!
I love fishing for and eating black crappie, white bass❣ 😋👍
What type of live scope are you using?
Curly tailed jigs get it done for white bass in north west ga on the Coosa river..double jigs 1/16 on top 1/8 on bottom. Caught a pb last weekend. 3lbs. White bass
Awesome! Congrats on that pb!
Do you plan on eating some of the crapping or use as bait I say do both 😆
Thanks for showing, injoyed the live show yesterday too.
I'm itchy to go . Got my wife one of those Bidets she loves it too.
When I was a kid the now trout magnet was called a grub and we never used for trout lol. But know the trout love the magnet. Back in the day for trout we used nightcrawlers Velveeta cheese and Putzkies fire balls and that's it now the trout want power bait or power worms and magnets lol 👍👊🇺🇲
I truly love your ultralight videos
Thank you!
Love your ultralight videos…my favorites.
I love how you talk to the fish
What a blast
I love the free for all fishing videos on ultra change ups you throw us .have a blessed day Justin and thank you 🇺🇲💪🏻
Really enjoy the ultralight content! Thanks for all the great shows to watch!
Getting good at this once the commercial came on all I saw was bill dance moving on up great to see this American dream come true
Haha! Thanks Brian!
What kind of reel is that and love the vids man
Walmart Abu Garcia reel
I really enjoy your ultralight and tournaments fishing. Thanks for the video. Juan
for your ltra light rod, is the panfish series the best for baitfish and trout?
It would probably work well for trout. I guess it depends on the size of your bait fish as to how well it would work for that.
@@KayakCatfish im catching bluegill and using it during crappie season, are you able to cast 1/64 oz jigheads well? Im also using 4-6lb test.
I basically fish with ultra light for everything. I have caught fish that weighed in excess of 30 pounds on 4 lb test line . It is a blast.
Am I the only one that was sitting here thinking "go around to the right and cast into the slip by the boat. 😆
Good day on the water. Thanks for taking me along. Stay safe brother.
👍👍
Eating those Crappie won't kill you!
Getting the kayak ready to get out there, up here in Maine. We have a lake nearby with crappie and white perch that I want to figure out this year.
Where did you get that bucket top? Can't find it in any search, yes I struggle in that (and many other) department.
It’s an 8” kayak hatch from Amazon. I just cut a hole in a 5 gallon bucket lid big enough to sit the hatch lid down in it
@@KayakCatfish LOL, well that explains my vain searches then. Thank you. I might just use a snap on potty lid instead.
The more you know : Black-nose or black-stripe crappie are black crappie that have a recessive gene causing a black stripe from the dorsal fin down to the lips. The recessive gene may prove to be an evolutionary change, helping the crappie to see, as well as providing better camouflage when stalking prey.
You are a wealth of knowledge
@@KayakCatfish I had to use Google lol
Man.. it’s ashame those crappie didn’t make it into the frying pan! Best freshwater fish to eat. Assume the contamination keeps you from eating them and using them as bait.
Thanks Justin, a great ultralight fishing video.Keep up the entertaining episodes.
Time to upgrade that old cardinal to a revoX
Cleaned 43 big ones yesterday
I love these videos, Justin. Just a buffet of fish.
Definitely got on some SLABS in this video... GREAT JOB!
I think you are turning out be good crappie fisherman lol
that looked like a blast, I love that Livescope
I love the fact that you do some ultra light fishing... love the catfishing vids as well but dont do that.. just love your channel
Thank you!
Even though it snowed last night in Tennessee, I'm still fist pumping about fishing thanks to this video!!! Keep dropping lines bud!!!
SUPER-NICE Crappie, Justin!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Happy Friday & Happy Fishing!🙂🎣
Thanks Nikki
I usually don’t tell people how to fish but I promise you will get further under the docks :
Hold the rod sideways hold the bait in your fingers and pull back super hard and low parallel to the water and you will effectively skip and slingshot it back way further :)
Loading up bait, I see 🤣 you really enjoy pssing ppl off hahaha, great video bud, great work like always
Nice video Justin! Those were some slabs for sure! Glad to see you kayak crappie fishing!👍🏻👊🏻
I enjoy your video on ultralight fishing I enjoy it a lot myself. I catch a lot of my bait that way sometimes the best part of the day. Keep up the good work enjoy your videos. Oh and I like to commercial you done cool idea.
Crappie are very good eating.
Just returned from a trip to Santee Cooper. Used a 1in smelt gulp minnow to catch white perch with. Got 4 dozen of them on one gulp minnow. Had a fish on every cast. I can honestly say, not going to use anything else for bait fishing.
Awesome! Sounds like a fun trip
Caught a bunch of in middle ga in my life never caught any with the black streak down their back before. Is that a regional thing.
I’m not sure. I haven’t caught enough of them to know either
Was looking at the weather warning alert forecast in your. There went all the creeks warming up. But on the other hand you might get to try out snow fishing 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🌨🌨🌨🌨⛄❄🌬🌬⛄🌨🌨🌨
I definitely won’t be out there tomorrow. Too cold for me
Man those would be some good crappy fillets
I can’t wait this weather is killing me 9 inches of snow coming tonight in Ohio 🤨
Hey Big j send me the bodies of those crappie’s lol 😂
Thanks for the video Justin! Great content. After you fillet your crappie, do you keep the heads for catfishing? Thanks again.
I use the entire crappie for catfishing
@@KayakCatfish I gotcha. I thought you were taking them home to eat. I love some crappie.
A shame y’all’s water is contaminated your catching the best eating fish in the river/lake
Team Carbon Fiber 🔥
Which lake you in? I know you in the clinch river.. I'm here in oak ridge.. I been catching some nice white bass in ten mile
Melton Hill
Seen the very first dock get fished by Richard gene the Fishin machine before
He was a long ways from home if he fished there
What knot are you using?
Clinch knot
What was with that stripe on the crappies head?
Black Nose or Black Stripe crappies are black crappies with a recessive gene causing a black stripe from the dorsal fin down to the nose. But it's just a black crappie - not a separate species.
LOL... I know about 10 million crappie fishermen are wondering where you were.... ahahaha
Haha!
You got nothin on Richard Gene when it comes to Crappie. You should’ve let that one with the black stripe on its head go!Anyhow all in all, enjoy your vids man. I just hope you eat the fish you keep.
Honestly my 2 favorite types of fishing is the ultra light for pan fish and catfishing. Thanks for another great video, Justin. Check my new profile pic,...my 21 lb channel cat in PA.
1st
Thanks for being #1
2ND
I fish almost exclusively for crappie. If you will open up the hook gap on your small jigs it will help out a lot on your hook ups. Not much just get the point of the hook slightly above the eye of the hook.
Skid Mark's oh that was funny 🤣🤣
Yea, they seem to congregate at docks in the spring, don’t they ?
I love ultralight fishing! One of my favorite methods is to stand on a dock with a 1/16oz jig and a whole nightcrawler threaded on just a couple times, and drop it straight down. I've caught every kind of fish that lives in my local lake except carp that way, including my PB largemouth that was about 2.5lbs (they don't get very big here in northern IL, heh)
I'm ready for some ultralight fishing starting this weekend for 7 straight days if I get to keep my vacation. You definitely have increased my anticipation of it. Great video Justin and thanks for sharing your time.
