Warner Bros. Pictures presents “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti (the “IT” films, “Mama”). Ezra Miller reprises their role as Barry Allen in the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film.
Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

I was there in 89 on my 10th birthday watching Batman in theaters, and here I'll be watching Keaton once again behind the mask for my 44th birthday with my 14 year old twin sons.

That half minute Christopher Reeve’s CGI Superman had me tearing remembering when my dad took me to the movies to watch the first Superman movie in 1978. The Flash was movie was incredible.

@@NAS_NE_DOGONYAT, I think it's a combination of what Miller did and how this movie is the beginning of the retcon for the Snyder-verse. Not sure. But the DECU has promising movies like Blue Beetle and the second Aquaman coming out soon. I went to see the movie mostly because of Keaton and Supergirl, but I do think Miller did a fantastic job. They are a great actor. May not be the best person, but what can ya do?

Imagine if they had released this movie in 2022 like they were supposed to. Before all the news about Ezra came out, they might have actually made their money back and they wouldn't have felt the need to hire that Marvel director who killed Superman as soon as he took over.
The worst part is this movie was announced in 2014 by WB and was said that it would release is 2018 this movies cgi was bad because they rushed last minute idk what they were doing all this time and as a genuine flash fan it's upsetting as this movies quality wasn't that good and it had potential but was wasted
@@MjN0921 If I remember reading it right, it was rewritten by over a dozen different writers over the years. At some point it was supposed to be a buddy comedy with Cyborg, but then Joss Whedon had issues with him on set and it was a whole thing.

I really love that Keaton isn’t de-aged to make him look young or anything like that. They just roll with him being an older Batman whose been fighting crime for decades and never fully got over the murder of his parents.
i thought in that universe Bruce wayne got shot and thomas wayne became batman instead so that's why he'd be older. correct me if im wrong.
@@Ilyaaaasssss4real You’re correct. In the Flashpoint universe, Bruce and Martha are murdered and it is Thomas who becomes Batman. This movie however simply takes inspiration from Flashpoint rather than fully adapting it. So Keaton’s Batman here is the same one from the Burton movies, just decades older.

OMG....I was 7 when I saw Batman 89 in theatres 😅....I have been a Batman(and DC fan ever since)....Michael Keaton's Batman(and later the Batman Animated Series) is what made me a DC fan in the first place.

If only this movie was as good as this trailer. Outside of Ezra Miller’s troubles, this movie was let down by some of the creative choices and the subpar VFX. However, it still felt like a love letter to DC fans.

It was a good movie with lots of heart, I cried. And I loved the comedy in it. Lots of parts made me laugh. It also had tons of action from beginning to end. The action scene at the beginning is definitely one of my favourite parts

Barry's reaction(woooh!) Is almost stupid, though. He's already fought parademons and has jumped from crazy heights before. He has fought at the sides of cyborgs, mythical gods, a godly alien and Batman. By this point, he's transversed dimensions, but sky-diving is an amazement to him? I don't get it, but the only real reason the DCEU did not work out was because of tonal continuity. So whatever we get from James Gunn, and I hope it's awesome, it must have continuity between the movies to not lose the audience in the execution of a two-chapter, 10 year narrative.

I don’t think it would work. He’s too old to be Batman for a whole movie, wouldn’t be believable/realistic. A Batman Beyond with him as old Bruce would work better in my humble opinion.

Hey I'm not gon lie, I'm not even a superhero movie type of guy but lemme tell you I decided to go and watch this one because I thought the trailer was cool. And my goodness this movie was epic I don't care what nobody say if someone says otherwise they're literally just hating or didn't pay attention fr. This movie was legendary👌🏾 and there was also alot of symbolism (but that's a topic for another day👽👁)
Thank you for pointing out the symbolism. People don’t understand Supergirl is there to give Barry the hope and strength he needs to overcome the pain of his loss. The main villain of this movie is LOSS NOT ZOD. People gotta see many aspects of the movie as metaphors, symbolism that is applied to The Flash’s pain the loss of his mother. The movie is so good, it has so much heart.
superheros have the same theme of having a struggle in life, they're not perfect. it showcases what they are, the potential and the main source of good is what is demonstrated. I think they wouldn't have casted him if he was a truly terrible person
@@patsys5357 I dont think anyone was thinking that zod was the main villain. The main villain is supposed to set a problem up for the main character. And zod doesnt even know who flash is. Its obvious that the loss is the actual villain because it sets up a problem for the main character troughout the film.

I personally think this is gonna be one of the best movies so far we’ve had some good ones an some flops in my opinion but I think this one will do great 💪🏻

Aside from the real life controversy, I honestly thought I enjoyed this movie from start till the end credit. The funny scenes are hilarious, not some forced marvel jokes.
