200+ million budget and no one noticed that the main character is a sidekick in his solo film. The main battle is going on, and the main character is fighting with the "extras". Even the main villain in the end actually eliminates himself, reducing the hero’s efficiency to 0.
My take is that the hero and villain are the same person. Flash's actual fight is against himself. By attempting to change his past he has created this nightmare and his growth is that learns the hard truth that his best possible world doesn't include his mother. But that's just my opinion.
they really OP'd zod in this movie. Barry can beat Zod in the comics. We see them kill His henchmen easy. Zod is only a little more powerful then them. Reason a young Supes was able to fight multiple of them at once.
Kal-El Clark Kent is the chosen one. He's the only one who can defeat Zod in all the different multiverses. Superman 2, Smallville three times, Superman and Lois, animated series, comics, and Man of Steel.

Michael Shannon actually asked Zack Snyder for his blessing to return as Zod. Whenever that man was on screen, he was never mistreated. He was brutal. His villainous character is what Marvel is afraid of
One thing that I think was severely overlooked by fans and most critics I'd the style in which this battle was shot and how it was filtered and edited to match the theme and feel of the Man of Steel movie 10 years ago. They infact nailed this Man of Steel portion of the movie.
Are you serious? Rewatch the Faora-UI Man of Steel fightscene in Smallville and compare it to this. It feels like they went back in time by about 30 years, not even coming close to the quality of Man of Steel.
I actually like this Supergirl A LOT. she's humble, soft-spoken and has a healthy sense of gratitude. a rather grounded person which is a HUGE plus. pity the writers didn't give her much time to develop. i wouldn't mind seeing a movie, or better yet, a series of her own for us to delve more into her character.

Simply a perfect battle with Hans' tone. If they removed bad scenes and dialogues between Barry and Bary 2 and gave more potential for the battle against Zod and showed more of Supergirl it would be incredible. People, the flash doesn't even save soldiers 💀

It's been a long time since I've read comics, but I thought Supergirl was sunny and optimistic by nature. This version is what happens after years of torture and, worse, learning about Kal's death. It's a fascinating (and badass) variant of Kara, but definitely an "alternate" version of her
I think synder universe has so much potential it’s unfortunate it was cancelled, hopefully we get a good series of films with James gun and the characters are true to their orgins.

@@herono-4292The Kryptonians are gods compared to the u.s military, with fighter jets being shot down from the ground, the gunship turning the desert into glass/crystals, and being able to take several missiles from the batwing no problem and still functioning afterwards. The military is still fighting despite knowing the power leap they're in, and knowing the kryptonians are unkillable.

I honestly agree that the CGI was heavily overused in this movie. Man of Steel looks better & it's a decade older than The Flash movie. Sasha did great as Supergirl, even though her role was limited. Which is a shame that she got recasted this quickly. Seems like a waste of time.

In The Flash CW Show, they learned the lightning throwing, and then like STUCK to that. I'm glad that iin this fight, they learn it, but they dont Abuse it? They Use Their Real Speed And Ingenuity. No. Superman overall is far more well rounded and powerful in almost every area.... Except speed. When it comes to speed, Flash is more powerful, and it lets him do some things Superman can't. Now Superman can easily escape by flying up. He can kill Flash when Flash sleeps , since zero invulnerability. And so on. But on the ground, it's gonna be a proper fight.

Punches wouldn’t do much of anything at all unless he hits him with an infinite mass punch, but phasing would definitely get the job done. Also Barry at full speed/power makes Clark look like he’s not moving at all, so that would give him more than enough time to seal the deal. But if given the chance Superman would definitely beat the flash

Just chimeing in i could be wrong in this Lore and for this Universe in this lore but was it not told that Superman is strong than the kryptons due to being on earth and getting more sun radiation ? mean while when Zod was in the sun long enough he was able to start getting powers, so Flash's in this scene as well as batman are fighting underpowered Krytponains they need more time in the light to charge power i think and the suits are keeping them from absorbing the power faster, so thats why flash can knock them out in this just my thoughts odd none of you brought up the whole sun charges kryptonians and that these guys are just arriving to earth
I love it, but for some constructive criticism I think it would've been far better if the beat drop at 3:28 occurred at 3:14 instead. The way you have it right now kind of diminishes the revelation that Zod killed Superman.
Why dont the flashes grab weapons from the kryptonians? Like their guns and their knives, they should do more damage right? And if they run fast enough and gather enough velocity, they should be able to impale them pretty consistently.
Plot Twist : the rest of the movies isn't as good as this INCLUDING this scene in the movie because this one has better colour correction and a great soundtrack.

I'm assuming the ship has Kryptonian atmosphere, which made her skin less durable. This was enough for the blade to kill her.
