I can’t get over how good everything looks. Dr. Fate’s magic, Cyclone’s wind powers, Hawkman’s armor, and of course, Black Adam’s *everything.* Probably the most excited I’ve been for a DCEU movie in a long while.
Yea, their getting good at keeping all the disgusting woke garbage out of the trailers now so you don’t see it till you go to the theater, then your like, oh here it comes, affirmative action shoved in your face.
I feel like DC is finally starting to embrace its own identity. Zero jokes in the movie, no puns, no goofiness. Exactly how an anti-hero should be. Exactly the attitude I wanted to see from a man with absolute power who lost his son. Would be interesting to see how they incorporate this with the rest of the DCEU. I feel a showdown between Black Adam and Superman is necessary now. Here's hoping DC keeps listening to the fans.

Whoever's idea to cast Pierce Brosnan as Dr Fate deserves a freaking medal. He has the face of Fate that I could imagine on screen. Also Aldis Hodge is really underrated, amazing to see him in a comic book role 🙌🙌
I would want to see a Dr Fate solo movie with Kent Nelson, but I am a bit worried if Pierce is fit to keep playing Dr fate, let alone a trilogy and joining the Justice League.
Honestly, it's refreshing to see Dwayne playing a rather serious character in a big blockbuster. Usually he's confined to basically just playing a slightly altered version of himself, so seeing him fitting the tone of a movie with not a hint of comedy in any of its trailers is a nice surprise.

This trailer is a major upgrade and pure awesome. Pierce looks amazing as Fate, and I love how Black Adam catches the bullet and beats up the soldiers so effortlessly. Definitely seeing it on release night!

Yeah awesome and as far as i know black in comics is much much bigger and maybe perhaps we all have to wait for Rock mr Johnosn to play atleast 8 movies to the moment Black Adam tried to kill all 10 main members of justice league in comics but what ever black adam series will not have the lack of time to show who he realy will be and one another is that black Adam proved to kill Wallace west once in comics too .so this black adam is good enough for start and nor shazam or nor superman and green lantern cant beat the strongest version of Black Adam in comics because i m a Comic Nerd and i know black can swim 100 times faster Aquaman in water deep into very depth of oceans under ground the seas we didn't yet still see but knowledge proved them .and once rock can blaze to hulk and make a kobab by his thunder and lightning.
I'm not going to lie, the hype for this trailer is absolutely astounding. I don't think any trailer of any movie I've ever seen has been as epic as this one.
But he is literally not worthy. Isn't that the whole deal with the Wizard? That's why he spent thousands of years waiting for someone like Billy, to undo the mistake he made with Black Adam, because he is not worthy.
The movies aren't that bad, it's the continuity that's the big flaw. Too many different Batmans and Supermans for all of the movies to connect properly. Not to mention the release of Justice League with it's two different cuts and looks. Well, all that and Superman being the end all for each villain if he's involved.
Love how Dr. Fate's design looks and how cool his scenes look with his powers, Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate is literally perfect casting. Hope he gets a solo movie in the near future.

Can't wait to see this. Way back in early 2000s when DC did the 52 series. I mostly read what happened to Black Adam during 52 and I remember saying to myself, The Rock could play Black Adam in a movie. And now here we are it happened. Can't wait to see this!!
I don't know why some websites given negative reviews about this movie but I watched it two times and it's actions scenes are really very good and I liked this movie so much
All the people he kills in the movie are bad guys by default anyway. So what he’s an antihero? Lol they are trying so hard to make him out to be the bad guy in the context that he’s merciless and lacks empathy but we all know in the end he will become attached to a woman and a man. The lady who says he’s seeking vengeance not justice. These two are moral substitutes, because they will remind him of his family and when their lives are in jeopardy he will decide to save them. In effect they will restore the humanity in him. It’s so predictable and cliched. Having said this, the action is deft and his powers are visually robust. I like the fact that they convey him just like his comicbook counterpart - a powerhouse equal to superman & Shazam in supernatural conditioning. I just hope one fight sequence features him doing a rock bottom on someone. Expecting the people’s elbow is asking too much. 😆

Really one of the biggest reasons for black Adam being so powerful and probably the most powerful character we've seen so far is based on his ( rage,pain,loneliness,loss,grief and revenge). Just one would be enough but throw in all its Miller time
It's absolutely amazing how this entire movie doesn't have any CGI to it. The Rock trained himself to fly and kill people. He really is THE electrifying man in the world
It's refreshing that DCEU is taking this route seriously, it's a fresh release from having to deal with marvel's nonstop comedic approaches to the point that it's so excruciating to watch their movies and series these days. A whole lot of us are rooting for you DCEU, help us regain our ardor and imagination again.
I agree that it’s nice to have this kind of tone. But it’ll only work if the DCEU sticks to tones that fit whichever character is the central player. Tone has to fit the character whether it’s lighter or heavier. DC has a great cast of characters. It just has struggled to actually handle them well. Fingers crossed this is a positive result for them.
I hate that none of the DCEU movies are what I would call good... and with how trash the MCU has mostly been, I've kinda lost faith in getting a good live action comic book film from the major players. The best I can hope for with Black Adam is that it's serviceable... if not, at least I won't be surprised.

It's actually nice to see The Rock in a much more serious role, and with a pretty beloved character at that. Don't get me wrong, I mostly do enjoy it when The Rock plays a comedic role, like in Moana or the recent Jumanji movies, but he has been needing a break from the laughs. Also, speaking personally here, I really like Black Adam as a character, especially in Injustice. So I'm pretty excited to see this. Also, I agree with everyone else, Dr Fate looks FANTASTIC!!!

Well...Black Adam is mainly a villain. His only heroic intentions are towards his country much like Dr. Doom. Otherwise, he's always thinking of his own benefits that usually harm other people.
@@AssembleAA His Allegiance ultimately depends on his goal, What did I make some an anti-hero or a straight up villain, It all depends on what he wants.For example, if you look at a certain way, Black Adam does usually operate as an anti-hero, especially nowadays, since he only regular cares about his people above anything else, and anything else after that is more so just a nuisance to him.
Amanda Waller cameo makes this very interesting, especially when an early script potentially had TF-X dealing with BA. I see they took a little inspiration from it. Being a hero or a destroy will make or break this film
I love how they depict Black Adam's power in this. It just shows that Superman and Shazam's threat is even bigger. The Rock really is preparing himself for a Superman and Shazam crossover

After those movies, DC had The Batman, a serious DC movie that people loved. Audiences are absolutely on board with a serious DC film universe, but MOS and BVS were not the way that most of the general audience wanted to see it executed.

I'm more a Marvel fan than a DC fan and I've been disappointed about superhero movies mostly because of the trash that disney has been producing lately but THIS movie totally got me, the storyline, the visuals, the characters, everything! I'm so glad I gave me the change to watch this movie, so I'll be catching up on the DC content.
WB letting Cavill go was the biggest mistake in recent years. It's such a shame overall that WB relies on hyping singular projects but keeps scrapping every chance we get to getting closer to justice league storylines progress. Seems like Darkseid isn't due for another twenty years after the last flop. (not referring to the Snyder cut) Hopefully Cavill returns again but Whedon's controversy about his trashy behavior on JL got WB scrambling for damage control.
This is one of the few movies along with Man of Steel in the DCEU to get me excited. Looks incredible, I just hope and pray that Dwayne Johnsons acting is up to the high standards this trailer is giving

I truly believe "Man of Steel" set the tone for this film. It's like kind of "dark" and "moody" but "comic book-ish" at the same time. The DCEU really have a cinematic language that's different from the MCU if they stick with it. Can't wait to see the film.

I hope the writers don't do most the predictable thing and make Black Adam a hero at the end of this. He's yet to meet Shazam and be an antagonist to him and character growth and development should take time. Think Prince Zuko from Avatar the last Airbender. He first saw him as a villain, then he more or less became a anti-hero boarding on becoming a genuine hero, then backsliding back into a villain before completely turning to the light. That journey was satisfying to watch, the struggle the morals. If the writers want to use Black Adam well they have to have to show his dark side, make him make the wrong choice, the bad decision that has real consequences emotionally and physically. Make him seem evil with no signs of changing yet. He's just fighting with the heroes because he has to not because he wants to do the right thing.
This trailer looks absolutely EPIC!!!! The action, the characters introduced, the backstory that is yet to be explored in the movie when it does finally come out and the man himself who we would like to see in how he operates and why he does what he does after he awakens from slumber into the modern world!
I just saw it HBO MAX. Not sure why people didn't like it. I loved seeing my superman in the end credits scene and was excited to see these two characters face each other off. It's a shame DC hates to take my money.

Every time I watch this trailer, I get chills. I'm used to seeing The Rock as a comedian in his movie roles. But as Black Adam, he left me speechless. This movie is probably going to be one of 2022's movie highlights. I can't wait to see Black Adam when it releases in theaters next month!
Anguish and Rage are the two of most dangerous emotions to have when you’re human. Black Adam is that character that anyone can’t gravitate to because of his backstory. Pain is what makes you human but how you project that pain is what makes hero or villain. It’s up to us to decide who we are going to be in this world. That’s why Dr. Fate says you can the destroyer of this world or it’s savior well. It already has its savior. So that should play out for another movie “wink wink”

I'm not huge into superhero movies anymore, and I don't have enormous hopes for the story itself in this one, but the effects seem cool and I hope this movie succeeds. From what I understand, Dwayne Johnson has championed this project behind the scenes for years like Ryan Reynolds championed Deadpool. I hope it doesn't fail and the efforts of all involved are rewarded. Side note: FINALLY a DC film with some color in it!
I did not particularly like the previous trailers, but I do like this one. It conveys more clearly how destructive Black Adam is. Also the Justice Society looks good. Gives me X-Men vibes. Overall the movie looks to be filled to the brim with atleast decent looking action. The visual effects and the look of the film leave something to be desired but unfortunately that is true for most blockbusters today.

that is souly dependable on us fans. if we don't support the movies and shows targeted towards a mature audience they will keep dishing out family friendly stuff like marvel is now only doing because alot of old marvel fans stopped after endgame now marvel trying to cash out and get a younger audience that could support it for the next 10 years.
Just saw it yesterday. Superb movie. Breath of fresh air to superhero genre. Both Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan were excellent casts. My favorite was definitely Dr. Fate. I would go so far to say Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate is RDJ as Ironman level casting! I hope they bring him back for sequels.

This trailer is a major upgrade and pure awesome. Pierce looks amazing as Fate, and I love how Black Adam catches the bullet and beats up the soldiers so effortlessly. Definitely seeing it on release night!

The movies aren't that bad, it's the continuity that's the big flaw. Too many different Batmans and Supermans for all of the movies to connect properly. Not to mention the release of Justice League with it's two different cuts and looks. Well, all that and Superman being the end all for each villain if he's involved.

All the people he kills in the movie are bad guys by default anyway. So what he’s an antihero? Lol they are trying so hard to make him out to be the bad guy in the context that he’s merciless and lacks empathy but we all know in the end he will become attached to a woman and a man. The lady who says he’s seeking vengeance not justice. These two are moral substitutes, because they will remind him of his family and when their lives are in jeopardy he will decide to save them. In effect they will restore the humanity in him. It’s so predictable and cliched. Having said this, the action is deft and his powers are visually robust. I like the fact that they convey him just like his comicbook counterpart - a powerhouse equal to superman & Shazam in supernatural conditioning. I just hope one fight sequence features him doing a rock bottom on someone. Expecting the people’s elbow is asking too much. 😆

It's refreshing that DCEU is taking this route seriously, it's a fresh release from having to deal with marvel's nonstop comedic approaches to the point that it's so excruciating to watch their movies and series these days. A whole lot of us are rooting for you DCEU, help us regain our ardor and imagination again.

I agree that it’s nice to have this kind of tone. But it’ll only work if the DCEU sticks to tones that fit whichever character is the central player. Tone has to fit the character whether it’s lighter or heavier.
DC has a great cast of characters. It just has struggled to actually handle them well. Fingers crossed this is a positive result for them.
I hate that none of the DCEU movies are what I would call good... and with how trash the MCU has mostly been, I've kinda lost faith in getting a good live action comic book film from the major players. The best I can hope for with Black Adam is that it's serviceable... if not, at least I won't be surprised.

It's actually nice to see The Rock in a much more serious role, and with a pretty beloved character at that. Don't get me wrong, I mostly do enjoy it when The Rock plays a comedic role, like in Moana or the recent Jumanji movies, but he has been needing a break from the laughs. Also, speaking personally here, I really like Black Adam as a character, especially in Injustice. So I'm pretty excited to see this.

After those movies, DC had The Batman, a serious DC movie that people loved. I'm more a Marvel fan than a DC fan and I've been disappointed about superhero movies mostly because of the trash that disney has been producing lately but THIS movie totally got me, the storyline, the visuals, the characters, everything!

He's yet to meet Shazam and be an antagonist to him and character growth and development should take time.
Think Prince Zuko from Avatar the last Airbender. He first saw him as a villain, then he more or less became a anti-hero boarding on becoming a genuine hero, then backsliding back into a villain before completely turning to the light.
That journey was satisfying to watch, the struggle the morals. If the writers want to use Black Adam well they have to have to show his dark side, make him make the wrong choice, the bad decision that has real consequences emotionally and physically. Make him seem evil with no signs of changing yet. He's just fighting with the heroes because he has to not because he wants to do the right thing.

This movie was great, people fancast the Rock as Black Adam long before the DCEU came, and they actually made it come true.
I just saw it HBO MAX. Not sure why people didn't like it. I loved seeing my superman in the end credits scene and was excited to see these two characters face each other off. It's a shame DC hates to take my money.

Every time I watch this trailer, I get chills. I'm used to seeing The Rock as a comedian in his movie roles. But as Black Adam, he left me speechless. This movie is probably going to be one of 2022's movie highlights. I can't wait to see Black Adam when it releases in theaters next month!

Anguish and Rage are the two of most dangerous emotions to have when you’re human. Black Adam is that character that anyone can’t gravitate to because of his backstory. Pain is what makes you human but how you project that pain is what makes hero or villain. It’s up to us to decide who we are going to be in this world. That’s why Dr. Fate says you can the destroyer of this world or it’s savior well. It already has its savior. So that should play out for another movie “wink wink”
Man I really hope they keep Adam’s backstory from Shazam N52, where he takes his nephew powers as his own, instead of them sharing it together. Could be a fun “twist” lat

I'm not huge into superhero movies anymore, and I don't have enormous hopes for the story itself in this one, but the effects seem cool and I hope this movie succeeds. From what I understand, Dwayne Johnson has championed this project behind the scenes for years like Ryan Reynolds championed Deadpool. I hope it doesn't fail and the efforts of all involved are rewarded. Side note: FINALLY a DC film with some color in it!

I just came back from cinema, I really enjoyed it, much more than many marvel movies, like black widow or captain marvel
I did not particularly like the previous trailers, but I do like this one.
It conveys more clearly how destructive Black Adam is.
Also the Justice Society looks good. Gives me X-Men vibes.
Overall the movie looks to be filled to the brim with atleast decent looking action.
The visual effects and the look of the film leave something to be desired but unfortunately that is true for most blockbusters today.
I guess they are like the X men as much as justice League are the avengers in DC

Just saw it yesterday. Superb movie. Breath of fresh air to superhero genre. Both Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan were excellent casts. My favorite was definitely Dr. Fate. I would go so far to say Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate is RDJ as Ironman level casting! I hope they bring him back for sequels.
