When you can release your upgrade snes emulator as a standalone emulator??? Thank you Ian, great work!
each snes game would have to be profiled and layers and trans layer order change to suit there is no standalone that could run every game .. Pvr does not render like the snes does in all combos of layers and rendering order. What game is it that you wanted to play on snes.. Some will always be impossible at the speed this is running..
@@IanMicheal For example, could you create a collection of the Donkey Kong Country or Super Mario saga, like the TMNT collection, with the preselected layers in the correct order in the Snes emulator, so that the games work almost perfect?
@@luisfelipepalacios4306 Yes it is possible to do this TMNT was 6 months work to get that all working on the Dreamcast with over 40 cdrs burned i cant do this right now .. Really not that much support for anything like this to take all my time on one thing ..

great work as ever Ian. neo geo cd is the way to go for the audio, a great fit for Dreamcast. KABUKI KLASH: FAR EAST OF EDEN on Neo Geo cd would be a great addition for the DC library, with its unique spell casting and rpg pickups in a 2d fighter. Sadly I only work in data and my programming is of a schools student level.

What has this Todo with dreamneo cd new release why you asking for a port of that doom engine thing that's not an imr project ask megavolt or sause.
I have no intent to do that. For one, there was a port of the engine on DC that ran very slowly, and this is even more memory-hungry. It's possible, but after 1 year of hard work, no one seems to understand what it takes. Maybe even more projects by then, everyone would not care and go. Oh, two days later, please port what ever other thing is the hot thing of the moment no one remembers the next day.
