Andy's Gaff Mooch touched on this in he's recent colab with the Vaping Biker. Worth a watch. Basically at 30amps a VTC5a will hit harder than the usual 5 legged iJoy 20700 (and the other rewraps of the same cell) initially but eventually the higher mah of the 20700 will mean it's hitting harder than the VTC5a. Of course you shouldn't be running VTC5a at 30amps. That 20700 can be run at 30amps.
Your answer in in the graphs, 30A CDA 3000mAh is certainly outperforming any 18650's I've seen, and its not even the best 20700 cell... But the mods that support them don't interest me yet, waiting for 20700 HoG ;)

Dude, you are seriously the ‘MAN’ This is the 1st vlog in my 2yrs of vaping where I have actually learnt what battery safety actually entails. Here in Australia you are what we call a ‘bloody legend’ Batteries have become a bit of a minefield in my world. I only buy from places I trust but I have been told from more than one battery store that a majority of batteries are made in China & actually rebranded buy major companies well All know as being high quality electronics companies- 1 of which makes video gear & starts with the letter P. I will be changing the way I build coils above 0.3ohms for anything that’s a single 18650 battery mod. Thankyou Mr Mooch 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mooch, I think it would be great if you could address the most asked question by those who are trying to start vaping on mechs: "How do you vape 0.05-0.07 Ohm on VTC5a? This is not safe!" I personally don't go below 0.10 on VTC5A battery (and even that is low) because I don't like keeping a ticking bomb next to my face. But starters don't understand how people go that low, try it themselves and get injured.
Oleg Obukhov you mean 0.05-0.07ohm right? Not 0.5-0.7ohm, as that is WAY safe. I don't do below 0.1ohm on a tube mech either, MIGHT go 0.08ohm on a PARALLEL box. But not often. 0.10-0.11ohm is my mech sweet spot

This is the 1st vlog in my 2yrs of vaping where I have actually learnt what battery safety actually entails.
Here in Australia you are what we call a ‘bloody legend’
Batteries have become a bit of a minefield in my world.
I only buy from places I trust but I have been told from more than one battery store that a majority of batteries are made in China & actually rebranded buy major companies well All know as being high quality electronics companies- 1 of which makes video gear & starts with the letter P.
I will be changing the way I build coils above 0.3ohms for anything that’s a single 18650 battery mod.

Mooch, I think it would be great if you could address the most asked question by those who are trying to start vaping on mechs: "How do you vape 0.05-0.07 Ohm on VTC5a? This is not safe!"
I personally don't go below 0.10 on VTC5A battery (and even that is low) because I don't like keeping a ticking bomb next to my face. But starters don't understand how people go that low, try it themselves and get injured.
Oleg Obukhov you mean 0.05-0.07ohm right? Not 0.5-0.7ohm, as that is WAY safe. I don't do below 0.1ohm on a tube mech either, MIGHT go 0.08ohm on a PARALLEL box. But not often. 0.10-0.11ohm is my mech sweet spot

I get so many questions that I can't answer anywhere as well as you can. It scares me the number of young folks who join a forum and immediately ask "how low can I go". Dude finally you are doing videos where have you been all this time haha. You should go over your trusted vendors. I've always uses imrbatteries.com never had an issue. I strictly use mech mods so all of this is wonderful
